While less observant viewers were being distracted by the J.T.-Stephen storyline, those who were more attentive noticed Jerry and Tyson fraternizing on several occasions in Episode 2. One of my favorite scenes this week was their humorous exchange in the shelter before the vote. That short conversation concerning the buildup to the vote suggests to me an underlying sense of trust and confort between them. I like the potential of this relationship. I'm always a fan of Survivor odd couples and an alliance between the stringbean blond and the beefy black guy would be a welcome addition to this Survivor tradition.
