Well, in fairness he did love the entire thread. It wasn't all in vain. Michael, please tell Kristen to critique the Danny interview. Even if it's a personal home video on Youtube in case EW wouldn't allow her to do that on the EW site.

I think most people here are more excited about Kristen and Michael than the actual Idol contestants, lol.

Idolatry up! ETA: Just finished watching it and I was extremely satisfied. Kris' liberal use of phrases such as "I know right", "I'm not gonna lie" and "Screwed" makes me happy. If anyone thinks he lacks confidence or musical direction or something, you should watch this. He clearly knows exactly what he wants to do and has that quiet confidence. His dry sense of humor still manages to catch me off guard.

Oh, Kris is totally charming, classy and quite confident in that inteview. The guy does have a good brain on shoulders. He really reminds me of Ryan Gosling for some weird reasons. *off to watch the clips again to check out his awesome laughs * |

I know Slezak was leading him with his questioning, but I love how Kris at the end says,
"You don't have to worry about any of the three of us [Kris, Adam, Allison]. We're going to be great." He doesn't even attempt to PC it up by adding Danny in there or saying "or anyone else". Also, admitting he was pissed about the ridiculous "Danny did better" comment was nice. For such a nice guy, Kris is surprisingly candid. I don't get the feeling he's saying any of this just to come off as nice, which is why comments like "Disco sucks" or "Me too" in response to singing country in the finale strike me as all sorts of awesome. ETA: Also good to know he doesn't condone matching aprons (and his "thanks" to whoever sent him the gift was lolz) or buy into any of the sappy made-for-TV crap. Oh and btw, what kind of contestant not only suggests a song but then teaches you how to play it on the guitar?
