I know Slezak was leading him with his questioning, but I love how Kris at the end says,
"You don't have to worry about any of the three of us [Kris, Adam, Allison]. We're going to be great."
He doesn't even attempt to PC it up by adding Danny in there or saying "or anyone else". Also, admitting he was pissed about the ridiculous "Danny did better" comment was nice. For such a nice guy, Kris is surprisingly candid. I don't get the feeling he's saying any of this just to come off as nice, which is why comments like "Disco sucks" or "Me too" in response to singing country in the finale strike me as all sorts of awesome.
ETA:
Also good to know he doesn't condone matching aprons (and his "thanks" to whoever sent him the gift was lolz) or buy into any of the sappy made-for-TV crap.

Okay I will now say Kris is so cute I want to fold him up and put him in my pocket. Great interview! I just wish I liked his music better.
Too bad he's married, he's only a couple of years older than my oldest daughter and she already thinks he's hot. |

Nice interview. Kris was always in my top 3 (or only 3 might be more appropriate). He seems very genuine, and I would likely buy a CD of his to support him,
especially if his songwriting skills are good. Disagree with Slezak on one thing, though: Do NOT putting Falling Slowly on the CD: Doing a remake in such a
similar (though, IMO, soemwhat inferior) way is rarely a good idea.
