yeah she got lucky the ones before her sucked, but then I always consider "Alone" to be one of AI's untouchables after Carrie sang it. (The only
one to get close was Carly during Hollywood week and it still wasn't as good as Carrie's)
and this is coming from someone who hated Carrie in season 4. |

for the first 20 seconds. She then dissolved into a horrible, shrieking, shrilling parody of a real singer. Good God. That chorus was just... I can't even imagine how she was the overwhelming female winner among the judges and the viewing public. At least the the girls now have a villian to compete with Danny for top honors in this season of Worst AI in history. |

I had to LOL at again Paula saying someone reminded them of Kelly Clarkson.
rumor has it Kelly will be on the show March 11th to promote her new album....and IMO...anyone who has been compared to her is going to suffer tremendously under the glare of their own mediocrity. This girl has braces? I wondered what the fuck was wrong with her mouth..... and yes, her singing was pretty good but like others have said, her personality is total shit. I'd much rather Megan or even Jasmine get through. |

If you're a rocker chick, "Alone" is really a great song to sing--that's why it gets sung year after year. At this point, that song should really be considered too "safe" a choice. |
