One need only look at the window layout to determine the two structures look nothing alike. The Chicago Board of Trade is classic art deco (like the Empire State Building), and 100 East is German-inspired. You might as well look at it and say it's the Pyramid of Khufu.

The central portion's windows run 2-2-2 while the poster displays them as 1-2-1, proving it's a CGI rendering with a mistake (THAT's what Gregoire was pointing out!), but also proving that it is in fact the Chicago Board of Trade Building and a faithful representation of the south end of the LaSalle canyon, using no elements from any other building.

3. Again, the entire point of the poster is to show a famous part of Chicago dressed up in 30s style. The centerpiece of the shot is the Board of Trade, a famous Chicago landmark. Why would they replace it with something else? How you pulled "100 East" out of thin air is bewildering...it would have made as much sense to claim it was the World Trade Center.
