I'm so disappointed. I think his performance was out of desperation...he got so slammed for not doing what they loved before, that he went overboard showing them he still can. I still thought it was miles better than anyone else last night and I look forward to seeing him with his piano. I like that he's an actual musician. But I'll take that to the love thread and leave you here to hate. You won't bond with me in the Allison hate thread, I can't bond with you here. Jorge is ok, but I'm not in love with him. Can we still be friends? At least will always have mutual hate for Gokey. And Megan. |

I certainly don't hate him, and of this sorry lot, he might be among my 2-3 favorites. One of my few optimistic thoughts about the upcoming few weeks will
be hoping he blows a lot of these fools out of the water.
HOWEVER, I thought that wildcard song was almost as bad a mess as his Coldplay. It was literally all note runs with little semblence of medley. I hope that he becomes an Elliott 2.0, but for the moment, he is only an Elliott wannabe. I'll never be a hater, but I could have some disappointment in my future. |

I had some hopes for him in the beginning, but as of right now I'm on the fence. I thought his wildcard performance was miles better than his Coldplay
disaster, but I think he overdid it big time with the runs. But, like it has been stated, it seemed like it was more out of desperation moreso than anything
else. He tried to do something different, but it wasn't successful and he got slammed for it, and to show that he's still capable of living up to
expectations, he got too hyped and this was the result.
At the rate he's going, instead of Elliott 2.0, he'll end up being Timberfake 2.0 without the painfully nasal singing. |

This turd hails from the same area I grew up so I have to believe he can't be all that bad. My very self-esteem depends on it. He's probably my favorite at this point. Believe me, that isn't saying much.
