New twist :eyes |
Lead | |

Now it has all the power with next to none of the risk. Yay.

Maybe it'll create drama between teams, though. We didn't have any of that last season towards the end.

There's still risk, risk that you used it when you didn't need it.
And, drama as they try to figure out who used the UTurn |

It could always be something worse, and if this is the only twist of the season then I won't complain.

wow....even the race doesnt like Luke. First he's deaf, now a blind uturn? what's next? A mute Yield?

Ugh, hate these fucking twists. Amanda/Kris probably would've been eliminated anyway, but they still had a good chance of passing the midgets.
Stop adding this fucking shit. |

U-turn is a bastardization of the spirit of the show. Hate it!!

I'd prefer for them to bring back Intersection rather than take away the only thing that really made a U-Turn entertaining.

I hate the intersection. It sucks. Unfairly punishes teams that are ahead but not with another team. I like the UTurn better than the yeild because the
teams have some control over the speed

I was surprised it was not a non-elimination round. |

Me too. Given the lack of multiple flights into Siberia, the U-turn vested too much power to knock somebody out of the Race.
It was a guaranteed coup de grace. Bad twist, and a worse time to use it. But yeah, it could've been worse. |

An ADD Falling Rocks Ahead?
A Color Blind Cow Crossing? A Dyslexic No Passing Zone? A Far Sighted Railroad Crossing? I could go all night! |

both Detour tasks were too hard! Anyone who get U-turn'd was probably gone.

I really think that the U-Turn should BE IN the leg itself, neither tasks do not seem to be really hard, It's just a fact that the U-Turn was used on the
wrong team, and 5 teams arriving at Krasnoyarsk later than the other three were not expected... I believe that this episode was one of the best episodes that
TAR has offered. It's just that certain circumstances became the enemies here.
I still believe that the U-turn featured in season 12 (leg 4) was still by far the worst placing of the u-turn. This u-turn was quite fine for me. Afterall, its a race and its legal to use the u-turn... |

A non-elimination round made sense - although perhaps that the point - if it was non-elimination, then what point is the U-Turn, other than to delay a team...? |

I love the blind U-Turn. No more lovey hippy shit and more drama and backstabbing.

The right team got eliminated. Now I'm crossing my fingers the midgets are next. That's all that matters.
