What a vidtro! Shocker part deux! Her parents are Salvadorian. (Isn't it "Salvadoran"?) She started singing at a Latin shopping center like, age 5 or summat. I like the tone of her voice, which makes me tend to forgive the pitchy occasional note. Reminds me of Rita Coolidge or Kim Carnes. She brings it heading into the title line, although there is absolutely no range required of this song (all of a fifth, maybe). She's feeling this, moreso than the last performer (who?) by a country mile. Nice interpretation, too. Not going anywhere soon, is she? That was a rhetorical question.

Simon: She has.

Simon: Sixteen, that voice, that confidence, very good!
