It will start on March 21st when the last song (Czech Republic's) is announced. In the meantime, I'm gonna list some of my favorite Eurovision songs from the past decade. I'll post a Youtube video every day or two. 2006 Croatia Severina "Moja Stikla" 12th place This song is filled with kooky goodness. It's ethnic vibes mixed with bass lines are the hook to this song. The EBU recently rejected Georgia's song due to political references, which is a big Eurovision no-no. It's probably a good thing since I don't like that song. On with my favorites... 1998 Germany Guildo Horn "Guildo Hat Euch Lieb" 7th place This song is so much fun! I love the cowbells, the molestation of Katie Boyle's face, and the climbing of the scaffolding! And you gotta admit, the song is really catchy. Guildo Horn is so entertaining even though he's a pretty mediocre singing. I'll give him a rest since he does it for the comedy. Which makes me think, did Nick Mitchell steal his schtick from Guildo Horn? I think he did.

So the countdown is gonna start once the Czech Republic releases their song! Here's Georgia's song for today's song. I guess it's a good thing they withdrawn. It's a completely shitty song. What does it mean that they "don't wanna put in"? I heard it was about Vladimir Putin.

I like this song for the sheer fact that Sidsel is so adorable and that it's an awesome throwback to the swing/twist era. Even though it's wicked cheesy. It's a catchy little ballad that has a lot of pep and energy. LISTEN TO IT. I'm posting the semi-final performance because it's better than the final performance.

This song's an example of that. It's a really good song with no crazy gimmicks. Doesn't anyone else like Eurovision? Doesn't anyone else like music??? Maybe I'll get more attention once the Asiavision Song Contest comes around.

She can't sing English well enough for anyone to really understand what she's saying. Maybe this song would've ranked higher if she just sang in Ukrainian. For the last couple of years, the Russians have sent shitty entries and they've all done relatively well/made the Finals. HOW?? Are Europeans that deaf? This song is interchageable with the Ukrainian entry. The long-named singer is a terrible singer even in her native language, but the background music is considerably better. Greece's entry is super cheesy, but not in a good way like Kalomoira's was last year. <3
