hmm problem is that TAR will only have 12 episodes. So if I'm counting right (assuming there's no preempted sundays) TAR is supposed to be finished on
May 3rd.

This is an odd place for a recap in the season. Maybe they wanted to milk Coach's arrogance for another episode before they dump
his ass since he isn't going to be on the jury if he goes next episode.

The article could be wrong. In addition, the rules for winning the CBS Fantasy Survivor game say the game ends at 8pm on May 10...or the beginning of the east coast feed of the finale, whichever comes later. This means that the Survivor finale was at least originally scheduled to be May 10. If I had to guess I'd say they went with a traditional 13 episodes, regardless of whether or not there's a final 3. But frankly, does it really matter? |

Eliza mentioned in the other thread that she was starting to hear May 17- it's almost certainly just been pushed back a week.
3 weeks without a real episode is pretty insane though- Survivor is a serialized show. |

The recap episode should hopefully give more insight into some alliances and other players that aren't the exile alliance. For example, is the JT/Stephen
alliance going to play a big part in the end game.

Coach will find a way to get voted out during the recap episode.
I'm betting it's a Final 3. I think I read somewhere that there's a medvac. They'll just stretch that out into a whole episode (ala Bruce) instead of having a person medevaced and then another person gets voted out in the same episode (ala Jonathan and Kathy). They were able to get away with that in Micronesia since they had 20 castaways. |
