First 16-person no-swap season since Pearl Islands, and fifth one overall.
Yeah, I like 16 people best. 18's alright, but 20's really pushing it. 16 and there's less Beckies infecting the season. |

Maybe if a swap had happened by now, we would have gotten some sort of strategic insight beyond "OMG crosstribal alliance LOOK!"
Hell, perhaps even a non-unanimous boot? Even a potential opportunity for us to see how these people are playing the game? This season is not great because of a small cast size (or any other reason, for that matter). The characters are finally starting to come into their own, but it's taken forever. If you don't cast correctly to begin with, it just doesn't matter how many people you bring on. |
