So if I have to rank the race courses from best to worst....
1. TAR5 (the only season to visit every single continent, diverse locations, I love how the route went from extreme south to extreme north and up and down and up again, nice country-to-country transitions particularly the Russia-Egypt leg)
2. TAR9 (diverse locations just lke TAR5)
3. TAR3 (good mix of countries, and I liked how they sandwiched the two African legs between the European legs so that it didn't feel they were spending so much time in Europe)
4. TAR2 (great locations but the race route was strictly in the Southern hemisphere and it's the only season to not feature Europe)
5. TAR1 (I like the route because of the interchanging African and European legs but they spent a lot of time in Asia. However, the Asian legs were quite diverse and it didn't feel like you were seeing the same locations and sceneries over and over again like.....)
6. .....TAR6 (... which was too Europe-centric. The Senegal and Ethiopian legs in between the European legs kinda balanced it out, however.)
7. TAR4 (The most straightforward of all routes. It was Europe-centric like TAR6 but unlike TAR6, it didn't have an African leg to balance out the European legs. And they filmed the race in the wrong time of the year so it appeared that Europe was dark, cold, and miserable)
8. TAR7 (WTF? Strangest route ever. It didn't even go around the world. It was a boomerang-like route and the locations they visisted weren't really offering much diversity. A lot of the countries in this season's race route were "brown and dusty" and somewhat bland. It's as if they spent so much time in the dry desert.)
9. TAR8 (.......)
