^ LMFAO not a single one of them will be. You can bank on Serena and Venus making it as deep into the draw as possible until facing each other.
Jankovic sucks shit on grass and she's on a downward trned. Cibulkova got lucky in Paris. Sharapova's peak was five years ago, and Azarenka's body doesn't hold up at all. |

I dont know Dic.. Both tennis commentators and tennis boards I post at are pimping out at Azarenka. As much as i cant stand the cry baby she will be a future
number one player. No doubt at all.
As for My current favorites well nice of you to ask. ; ) ... 1. Dementieva <333 2. Ivanovic <33 3. Dulko 4. Vesnina and 5. Safarova And FORBES magazine last week published a new article...Best 5 active tennis players to be slamless... No. 5 Patty Schnyder, 30 Switzerland
Ranked 17th in the world, Schnyder is ancient in women's tennis terms. She's had subpar results in slams this year, exiting in the second round at the Australian and the first round at the French. Best Grand Slam finish since 2005: She's made the quarterfinals in the French and US Opens and Australian (twice). Most likely Grand Slam event to win: Schynder's on the downside of a fine career, but we give her a shot at the Australian. She likes the hard courts. No. 4 Nadia Petrova, 26 Russia
Ranked No. 11 in the world, has won nine singles titles on the WTA Tour. Best Grand Slam finish since 2005: Made the semifinals in the 2005 French Open. Most likely Grand Slam event to win: She's had good results on hard courts, so we'll go with the US Open. No. 3 Jelena Jankovic, 24 Serbia
The fifth-ranked player in the world, Jankovic holds the distinction of being the only player ever to finish a year at number one on the WTA rankings (2008) without ever having won a Grand Slam event. Best Grand Slam finish since 2005: She lost in the finals of last year's U.S. Open to Serena Williams. Most likely Grand Slam event to win: The U.S. Open, where in the last four years she's made the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals No. 2 Dinara Safina, 23 Russia
The current No. 1 player in the world is the younger sister of two-time slam winner Marat Safin. She's currently in the semifinals of the French Open. Best Grand Slam finish since 2005: She made the finals of the 2008 French Open and the 2009 Australian Open, losing in straight sets both times. Most likely Grand Slam event to win: This year's French Open.
No. 1 Elena Dementieva, 27 Russia
The fourth-ranked Dementieva won the singles gold medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Best Grand Slam finish since 2005: In the last two years she's made the semis at Wimbledon and the U.S. and Australian Opens. In 2004 she made the finals of the French and U.S. Opens. Most likely Grand Slam event to win: Her most consistent results have come at the U.S. Open. Do you agree with this list? Did they miss someone? |

Edinboro you post at the womens tennis forum? What is your username.
Mine is Azarenka_Blue. Dictatorship, Sharapova's peak started 5 years ago and is still in progress HAHA. Serena's peak was 5 years ago even though she is still good now but she wont be good enough to beat players with better physical attributes. Serena and Venus will have to play each other in the Semi Finals if they make it all the way, while sharapova is on the otherside of the draw with crap players which she can easily beat. |

I don't see how Schnyder is someone to watch for that has never won before. I'd give it to Daniela Hantuchova (semis in Australia last year), Caroline
Wozniacki, perhaps Agnieszka Radwanska, and maybe that bitch up and comer Azarenka.

My new Avatar is Vika Azarenka :)
She is so Cool. Also Patty is only there because she has been on the tour for a long time while Azarenka has only began Playing extremley well in mid 2008. |

Anna Chakvetadze was robbed!! Robbed I tell ya! Before that robbery where she and her father were tied up at gunpoint in their own home, she had outstandin
results. US Open semi final in 2007, WTA Championships semi final, Won Moscow a teir 1 title, QF in Wimbledon and FO. I mean, seriously, she had some nice
talent and deserves the spot over Schnyder, but the robbery fucked it all up to hell.

The WTA rankings are such a joke. Hingis,Jankovic,Davenport,Mauresmo,Clijsters and now Safina have all been #1 this decade at a point where they were the title
holder at 0 Slams.
They should have made it a priority years ago to tweak this. Especially since 2 of the biggest names in the sport Clijsters and Hingis burnout and left the sport early partly because they played far too often chasing after #1 ranking. |

I would love for a Chakvetadze return to form. She's very nice to look at and i would love seeing more of her than most of the girls in the Top10

This could be an interesting slam. Safina, Jankovic, Dementieva, and Kuznetsova suck on grass. This will either be a William sister event or Azarenka/Sharapova
and I couldnt be more pissed.
