Accordingly, these threads will be phased out within the next month, more or less, so that we don't inadvertently bog down the board with megathreads full of graphics. If you are interesting in starting a new Carrie thread, a new Adam thread, or a new Cookie thread in this subforum, PM me and state your case. Let me know why you should have the honor. I will notify the successful candidate that s/he may start the new thread. Don't jump the gun, either. Anyone who starts a new Carrie, Adam or Cookie thread without permission will be flogged or summat. ETA 8/29: The 3 successful per.ditioners have been authorized to profilgate [sic] said new threads. There was a glitch with the Yuku "leave a shadow in the main forum" feature, that was visible here during a near subforum meltdown. After the cleanup on aisle six, a rash administrative decision was made not to attempt any more shadow threads until Yuku could address the glitch. Sorry for any inconvenience. If you diligently search but do NOT find your dearest AI9 finalist's thread here, it may be missing. Or, it may be locked in the main AI forum. PM me so that I can help you locate it.

On top of the board being its usual slow Sunday evening self (thanks to Big Brother), there are pages and pages of childish behavior in the past 24 hours. I will do my best to sort it all out. Until then: 1. I have locked the Clay thread, and will move it where only Admins can see it. Whether it ever returns to this forum will be determined when this sht gets sorted out. 2. I have asked Quickstart to start a new Clay thread, which will also be locked. No one else has permission to start a Clay thread until this sht gets sorted out. If you think it's acceptable to post personal information, re-read the Yuku TOU and the AI Forum Rules.

Although 10k's not a magic number, that's the point where we traditionally bid adieu to the old, and welcome the new. Anybody who wants to start their new threads, PM me. Please don't write a doctoral thesis, or make it personal (i.e., about me) this time, because I'm not interested in reading that stuff. This is Sucks. Keep it short. Get to the point. We're Sucksters. Let's do this. ETA: The current Kelly and Adam threads will make their way to Purgatory in a few days. Since pretty much everyone who regularly posts in the popular sub-form threads is a warring fantard, engaging in mutual abuse of those who believe differently about their beloved Idols, here's some friendly advice. Anyone who considers themselves mistreated in this sub-forum is free to withdraw themselves from further mutual abuse, and stop posting here. We don't put up with anyone posting your RL info, but short of that, if you give as good as you get, then STFU. The sign at the door says you must have asbestos underwear to enter this place. If you don't want to get flamed back in return, don't flame. If you don't want to get one-upped, don't one-up the other fantards. Abandon hope, all ye who enter this place. That is all.
