Can we match the challenge apparatus or facial hair to anything we've already seen? Is there more to this video sequence that suggests more clearly an altered green bugg? I am expecting Ben to make the merge, but I'm not sure we can prove it by this vidcap.

The fact that Taj is making a fake HII means that someone from Jalapao other than Stephen or herself is exiled. That person would get enough clues to know that the HII is at tree mail (assuming the Jalapao exilee choses the urn with the clues or the Timbira exilee is willing to share the clues). If the exilee from Jalapao finds the fake decoy HII, then he/she would assume that Taj doesn't have the HII and could target her for eviction and then be the victim of the real HII. That seems unnecessarily complicated to actually happen. You wouldn't want to use the HII pre-merge if you don't have to. It is very simple for Stephen/Taj/JT to vote out one of the other two and hold on to the HII.

In the last episode (before the recap), while giving her post-idol finding confessional, she was seen sitting at exile speaking. Here's how the timeline kinda went.. Ep. 4 Day 1 - Jalapao wins reward, Sierra & Taj exiled Day 2 - Taj on exile, does not have the idol Day 3 - Timbira wins immunity, Sandy voted out Ep. 5 Day 1 - Stephen & Taj find the idol, Jalapao wins reward, Brendan & Stephen exiled. Stephen tells Brendan that they found the idol that morning. Day 2 - (Taj not on exile) Day 3 - Timbira wins immunity, Spencer voted out. So in order for Taj to give a confessional about the idol while on exile, she'd have to go there in the next episode.

We know Jalapao is already going to TC. No we don't! All we know is an assumption that the next one out is either Joe or Sydney. But it is an ASSUMPTION. so stop make an ass out of yourself until we have a more convincing evidence.

But still, this is a good reason to be making a fake idol. Say it's after the merge, they are living at one of the original camps, using one of the original tree mail locations. All four of the CTA have an interest in covering up that they have a couple of immunity idols.

In a previous episode I think the one Spencer got voted out in. Tyson was talking about tribal in his previews and they didn't go. If Jalapo losses at immunity I think JT MIGHT be the one to go. He's gotten a heavy edit in the preview PLUS all the commentary from his tribe during the recap was about his skills as a leader. Say Taj, JT, and Stephen make an alliance by shown in the preview and then JT tells Stephen he's going to vote Taj out as shown in the preview. Taj makes a fake idol. Has Stephen find it w/ JT. JT thinks Taj can be voted out and pulls Sydney and Joe in. Taj idols JT for revenge. Blindside.
