I wonder how the engine freeze will effect Cosworth? Hopefully they are allowed a bit of time to develop a good engine because it's such a great name to
hear during races.

Aren't they proposing the Ford engine rev higher?

WEBBER HAS BEEN UNLEASHED!
Just finished watching the race and it was a pretty good one. Webber winning even after a drive-through. I'm very happy for Webber. Nice real guy, and well deserving. Massa third. Brawn 5 and 6 even though they had the race in the bag. |

I watched and still can't figure out how Webber managed to pull that off. It wasn't just Rubens fuel malfuntion.
Great for Webber. This from the top of the Sydney Morning Herald website:

Seems Webber will need even more surgery on his leg after Hungary.
Like I said, CVC *is* pissed at the 'management': A board member of F1's commercial rights owners CVC believes Bernie Ecclestone should have stepped down as the sport's chief executive after giving his now infamous Hitler interview.and now it looks like Mosley will really stand down this year. Flavio must be jumping for joy at the power vacuum. I would post some pitbabes, but the Germans were slim pickings. I will echo that Ruben's constant whining is getting tiresome. I understand the guy has been frustrated for years, but he really needs to keep his mouth shut and drive... |

Ouch. Brain surgery. What a random accident.

I can't believe the same kind of accident happened in less than a week. Freaky.

Relative to the severity of the injury, this has to be the strangest accident I've ever seen.

I just finished watched qualifying from the DVR this morning -- oh awful seeing his head slumped forward as he went into the wall. Amazing he was able to lock
up the brakes -- or is that automatic with some sort of dead man's switch on them if the accelerator's not engaged.
The AP says it's life threatening now. Yikes. And did you notice he still qualified 10th? |

Well if he made it to Q3 the worst he would qualify is 10th.

True, but it happened in Q2 -- they delayed the start of Q3 to clean up the debris. But you're right, "I was told there would be no math
involved."
Anyhow, the AP just reported that his life is out of danger. |

He must have a top 10 time in Q2 I guess?

Awefully quiet after a McLaren win...
Looks like the wheels are coming off the Brawns, or was it Renault. If I were Alonso I would've punched somebody. Dangerous for everybody on the track. |

Going into the four week break with the weasel winning the most recent race is not a happy prospect. Fucking KERS. I guess the damn thing finally paid off.
So what's going on? Did Brawn collapse or did Red Bull & McLaren just get better? No kidding on Alonso's issue -- after seeing what a bouncing spring can do, imagine what a bouncing tire can do. Too many pitstop follies today. I wonder if they were all shaken by Massa's accident. Speed Report btw had a chilling but awesome recreation of the incident by splicing things together as it happened in real time. I'm delighted Massa's out of the woods... but.... Does this open the door for Schumi to return? The prima donna scale would rupture. BTW: anybody notice that when Nicole jumped up and down in glee, her boobies didn't move. At all. |

I had to download it and just finished the race. Loved seeing McLaren and Ferrari rebound. Hungary is a mickey mouse track so it might not translate to other
tracks. The more teams mixing it up, the better.

Piranhahaha wrote: His manager is completely denying it, but it can't be ruled out. More than Schumacher, you know who I'd like? Jacques Freakin' Villeneuve. He's looking for an F1 drive next year. It would be nice to have him and his name in a Ferrari for half a season, especially since they are basically out of the running and it would generate tons of publicity for their sponsers. |

Massa may have eye damage and his career might be over. That really sucks!
They have penalized Renault for the loose wheel and won't let them race at Valencia ( Pending appeal ) - That is a catastrophe for the track since everyone just comes to cheer for Alonso. Brawn really has their work to do - They won't win any championships one point per race. |

If nothing else they need Schumi back just to draw some people. Attendance has been lousy all around.
