If they drop the prices there will be more fans. As well as the parity between teams. And have the races where there are fans, not some country that coughs up
the most cash.
I'm a bit late checking in but I was out celebrating the McLaren win.... 
I think poor Massa might have driven his last race by what I've been reading about his eye. He seems to be doing well apart from that and there's still hope. But he's alive, has a shitload of money, has raced a Ferrari so he really can't complain if he has to retire. And he's not an arrogant fuck. Schumi won't race , and why would he when he's not in the fastest car and things are fair. He'd be shown for what he really is. I feel for the Spanish fans with Renault booted from the next race. I've found the penalties all over the place this season. Fines, bannings, drive throughs, grid spots. It's hit and miss what a team or driver gets this season. |

Wow! I can only hope he gets served. Kimi smoked him in Shumi's final race as I recall.
I've read conflicting things about Massa's eye. I can only hope he makes a full recovery. I feel for the dude. |

It will take a couple races for Schumi to get fully back up to speed. Kimi knows the car better and Michael hasn't raced in ages.
Other news. BMW is out at the end of the season. Hopefully this will create a shift back to privateer teams and manufacturer engine suppliers. |

Oh, and with the F1 break, Schumacher won't be able to test the Ferrari until free practice at the next race in a month. He will just be able to
familiarize himself to the car in straight line testing. So if he's immediately on the pace, it will show well for him and his legacy.

Well count me flabbergasted. Schumi's coming back. I'm guessing that the tickets not sold because of the Alonso no show will be snapped up in no time.
I hope Kimi smokes him as well. A real racers dream. To race Schumi in the same car. Assuming all thinks equal.
He did injure his neck in a bike accident earlier in the year so his neck might not hold up so well. Time will tell. Put JV back in a Williams and and Mika can come back to McLaren. All the old champs back for a fun season end with Alonso, Kimi and Hamilton. It likely wouldn't affect the final standings much at all. I do feel for Mark Gene though. I would have thought he'd be the reserve driver. He's fully capable and race ready. BMW bailing was a bit sudden but Dr T told them they'd win in 3 years... times up as far as the board is concerned. Toyota and Renault may follow. BMW for one, was in F1 for the wrong reasons anyway. Not for the love of racing. I'd be happy if they went back to private teams like the past. |

It's a shame. He did fracture his neck in February in a racing bike accident and F1 puts 4-5Gs on your neck. Not surprised at all.
It's cool that Badoer is getting his big break, even though he's 38 and hasn't raced in over 10 years. Longest running test driver. It's nice to see an Italian in a Ferrari again. Isn't Luca an Italian Prince? Italian Princes are a dime a dozen, but still pretty cool. |

Renault is in and Piquet is out. Valencia sucks as a track, but it'll be interesting to see if Brawn can respond.

I wanna move to Valencia. And props to that city -- the track's much prettier now. Especially with that balcony over the garages and the chicks up there fanning themselves. Nice touch. |

Great for Rubens and the McLaren pit crew. It was really nice to see Rubens so genuine and happy, all patriotic for Brazil and Massa.
I think the smug weasel would have been beaten, pit error or not. Kimi did well to finish third too. But what an unfriendly prick. Did he even thank Rubens? The track was boring but it seems there were plenty of lovely distractions for you men. Luca? I think that was your last race. Gene for the next race perhaps? At least he's been an active racer not just a tester. Spa is next week and there may be rain. That sounds like some good entertainment. |

The only thing nice about that track is they must've told the camera operators not to show as much of the shipping containers stacked just feet from the
race or all those horrid cranes on the docks. Too bad Kovy slipped to fourth.
The real constructor race is now back between McLaren and Ferrari, albeit for 3rd behind Brawn and Red Bull. |

I haven't seen the race yet, but got spoiled when I forgot it was on. Saw qualifying and Fisi was fast all the way through. A genuine pole. And second
friggin' place? He may get that Ferrari ride next race weekend. Italian driver. Italian car. Italian race. It would be EPIC!
And Kimi pulling out the win. I love Spa. I love it with all my heart. The best track in the world at this time, and some of the best races ever. It's completely retarded that they are going to only use it every second season from now on. Damn Bernie. I've downloaded it and will watch it tomorrow. |

You're going to love it!
KERS finally paid off for the Scuderia. The safety car came off abruptly, so keep your eyes on the screen when it does. The later lap 9 to go double pit with Kimi and Fisi was sheer awesomeness. To anyone happening by, if you want to catch an F1 race in all its glory, SpeedTV will replay it at some point this week. Gorgeous track? Check. Crashies? Check. David vs. Goliath/Rocky I storyline? Check. The first chance in ages to see a monosyllabic guy from Finland celebrating? Check. This race has it all. |

I was working so I was late watching. I intentionally avoided all media so I didn't ruin it. Not that it's that difficult to no hear about F1.
I'll be the Force India of OT. They are also Irish colours after all. The race did have it all. I loved it. Plus the beauty of the track only added to it. Finally the kers paid off. It was great to see Kimi win but I was rooting for Fisi. He was the fastest and never made a mistake. All the in car shots, esp up eau rouge were great. I think the OT F1 folk are busy racing spa at home. I know I would have if I had the stuff....(runs over to brothers place). This has been a great season. Wide open, no real domination and full of surprises. I do hope that Spa returns to every year. Those decisions don't always seem final with Bernie. Someone else has to be in the Ferrari for Monza. Fisi would be a popular choice. Then he could race Sutil for the win! |
