I'm attracted to personality and sense of humour, not money at all so it astounds me how he does it. But he does.

He's always been a successful businessman and followed the big money. Really, I'd be surprised if the babes dried up

Being Italian probably helps too.

Yeah, but does this mean we won't see his WonderBra model wife at the track anymore???

Great, while you're all focused on miss wonder cheeks, I ended up zooming in on Flavio's bump...Ugh

It seems like Button is going to squeak out the championship. I would have liked Red Bull to be more reliable and keep it interesting. But it's not over
yet.
It was great to see Alonso on the podium after the Renault debacle. I was all for Rosberg until his silly mistake. Too bad. Mostly I felt bad for Heidfeld. His DNF record is broken by another's mistake. There are too many inexperinced drivers these days. They try to rush them into F1. It used to be early twenties before they got their shot, not 19. Apart from Vettel and Rosberg, the young ones have failed to impress, lost confidence or take a few years to improve. Older isn't always slower. I hope they realize that or next year with the expanded grid it might look like Indy Car or something like it. On to Suzuka. One of the great tracks. |

I think the ban on testing is stupid. To 'save money' everyone has to invest in simulators which aren't a substitute for experience.

I agree totally. They want to get back to basics to save money with slicks and such. Testing is where the kids get some experience with the cars. But real
racing matters. Also if someone always leads a race, they are lacking in passing and traffic management skills. Hamilton still has difficulty with real race
passing but this year has made him a better driver getting some in the middle of the pack experience.
I'd prefer if they got back to basics. Test and scrap the simulators and wind tunnels. Let driver input influence development. Not just a computer and some engineers. They'd save money, and the drivers' skills would separate the real from the sim drivers. |

Expect some good shuffling of teams soon - Alonso to Ferrari, Kimi to McLaren, Rosberg and Glock to ?
The only downside to the pitbabe pix from Singapore was the abundance of butterface pop stars from the preceding night's concert. Fergie? Gwen Stefani? Gwen should've been arrested for bringing her baby to the pits without hearing protection...
Oh well, Nicole and Beyonce looked fine...

I've lost interest in this season. First time in two decades. It's wrapped up.
They should limit testing miles and tracks, but not eliminate it outright. It hurts the racing more than it helps. Looking to next year, Alonso will get the fire back in my belly. Plus the elimination of refueling will make the racing more straightforward. I loved the racing before refueling. Harder tire compounds will make braking longer and grip less. Very heavy cars at the beginning will do the same. Drivers will have to decide whether they can baby their tires and make less or no pitstops. More aggressive drivers will be faster but will have to stop more. Pitstops will be 3-4 seconds. |

This year is missing something. I understand the loss of interest. I have no specific driver or team I'm rooting for. No real favorites and my Hamilton
dislike isn't even strong this year. He hasn't been a factor.
I agree about next year. It should be better with the rule changes and the driver shake up. It certainly can't hurt. |

So it's official now. Alonso to Ferrari for 3 years. I might become a Ferrari fan yet. Vicc, Fire in the belly yet?
With Kimi rumoured to be going back to McLaren, next season already seems better. |

Fire
Belly Might be heartburn. Will miss Kimi. He's a classic playboy racer living in his own world. James Hunt without the charisma. But Alonso has massive charisma, massive talent, and a rebelious nature. He will fit in well at Ferrari. <3 |

Anybody watching?
I've been out of the loop, but holy crap what a mess qualifying must've been. This season seems to be going out with a whimper. Button with the capability of clinching tonight? Oh well the first half really was fun. |

I'm watching. It's pretty much locked up, so it's lost it's edge.

Yeah, not an interesting race yet.
Is this the Japanese track that you like or dislike? Poor Webber. Three pits in the first two laps? Ha. Speed just announced that Piquet is looking at racing trucks. |

This is the track I like. One of the best. A good passing track into the last chicane. Suzuka and Spa are the best drivers tracks.

I tried to watch last night but fell asleep....zzzzz. I finished watching this morning. Relatively boring but a great track I agree.
Vettel was great as usual. He's the rare youngin who has the talent and could handle being moved up so young. Grosjean and ALG both showed today that they are too young. But at least we got a safety car to spice up the end. The Kovi pass on Fisi was nice. The commentator was saying it was the Kers. I thought that Kers resets every lap. The pits are near the start, so did he have power left from the lap or had it been reset. It may have been a straight up pass with Fisi not expecting it. They need to get rid of Kers. It's plain stupid. It was supposed to spice up things for fans. But all it does is favor the few teams that can afford it, when it works that is. Simple is better and they are slowly getting back to that. I think the problem in F1 these days is that there is no real driver rivalry. Missing is the love/hate tension between drivers. They all get along and are friends or pretend to be. Tow the corporate line. Don't upset the sponsors. They need a few rebels who aren't afraid to speak their mind and show it on the track. |

Better yet when team mates hate eachother.
As much as my vision is clouded by the possibility of another Brit champion, I hope Jensen goes away after this. He was king of the world with the Brawn advantage and is a whiny brat backing into the championship. I just hope Vettel doesn't detonate his remaining engine! I think the only team potentially with KERS next year is Williams. Don't they have a crazy flywheel-based system? |

Jensen won't be winning again. It was a lucky year for Brawn and Jensen is very average. It's hilarious that he thinks he's some British F1
playboy.
I hope Kimi goes to McLaren because I don't see him and Hamilton being friends at all. Could be great. I hope he doesn't go to rally yet. |
