Back from taking a BB8 break to spend some time with my SYTYCD girlfriends Lacey and Lauren (both are considerably hotter than anyone in the BB8 house).

Anyhow, let's see what we've got -

I've been through this in other threads so i'll address it once more here and then i'm done with it.

1) he doesn't normally say it even close to this much (early on i think it was his way of 'puffing up' around Mrs. Robinsons' suitors and then it was a by-product of the slop rage) (btw, totally making him a shirt that says "i'm not bi-polar, I'm just on slop");

2) it has become MUCH less common - this along with 'bi-polar' are becoming out-dated criticisms in my book - bug-eyed fine, long-winded and needs to listen right there with you - but the cursing, been there, done that;

3) i'll give you annoying b/c it was to me; it isn't the slightest bit embarrassing to anyone who knows him so i can't see why it would be to you; and rude? this is BB not the sound of music or charm school - relax a little - have fun

Don't mean to come off as snapping at you - but I feel like I just keep on getting this.

I sure hope not. I just want him to make sequester - it should give him time to make some AP cash, give him the stipend for the entire summer, and allow us to have a vote in the finals.

Provided he's not on slop again, I think he should be in decent shape week 2 and probably week 3. By week 4 he may need to start attempting to win some competitions. Especially b/c he will be quite amused by his HOH basket (or at least I'll be amused by it).

Well, clearly he's getting a great edit. The entire Jen/Nick segment last night could have been Eric/Joe or Eric/Dani so he was done a great service already. Beyond that I hope they play it straight - if he's going to do well he can do it on his own merit. That being said, if we do see a Madden '04 tournament for xbox; or pop-punk trivia; or save by the bell charades it will certainly be fishy.

btw, Fluffy - while i love the avatar - gotta say i think Rock takes it (though i hope she's the runner up)

We do too - it's kind of adorable. But every time I smile about it, I later on see her with Dani and/or Joe totally trashing him and then I am sad. I think if he starts trusting Jess too much and telling her substantive strategy (especially if Joe is still around) it's going to bite him in the ass.

Yes. And that was the source of many a heated debate between us leading up to his departure. For at least the first 2 weeks he wanted to try hard to be: (a) friends to all and enemies to none; (b) the funny man - jokester/entertainer; (c) hard working - cooking/cleaning his share if not more; and (d) avoid locking into any serious alliances. He also was going to throw HOHs and probably POVs for the first few weeks. And all of this was without having any idea about the AP twist.

I told him that people were going to mobilize well before that and even if you were friends with all, if you are in an alliance with none, you'll turn around in week 3 and be in big trouble. Perhaps you can offer you vote to one of two warring parties; perhaps you can grab the bottom people from each big alliance and form a 3rd alliance; but perhaps you'll just be someone who whether put up as a pawn or legitimately and then just goes home b/c he lacks the votes to stay.

I think for the time before and after the slop he has for the most part succeeded in implementing his strategy. during slop, it was a total disaster. And now that he's been hit with the AP twist he has an excuse to say to people like me after the game "i really didn't have much of a choice but to hang back a bit b/c i couldn't commit to anything."

It's not how I'd play and I don't even think it entirely plays to his strengths but it's his game to play so I wish him the best. That said, if he's still in the house by sequester I suspect he will attempt to win everything known to man, start scheming up a storm, and become extremely dangerous. I think Dick is very aware of that too which is why as much as he likes hanging out with Eric at night, he will probably try to send him home just before sequester.

As for the other comment, wasn't remotely offended at all - it takes a lot to offend me. Not so much to annoy me, but a lot to offend me. :O)
