No. Quit acting like Aisleyne having a lead over Pete is a fact. Preliminary voting results weren't released to anyone, my friend. Those were simply rumors that she was leading and it just doesn't make one bit of sense. Just more in a long line of "the editors are trying to sabotage Aisleyne"...they seemed to play up Pete's whining over her and his "I'll believe in heaven" crap. So he certainly wasn't given mercy the last week. And Glyn's run across the roof wasn't either.

Also:

1) The majority of voting is done the first weekend, which is why Aisleyne couldn't ever have been conceivably ahead or else she would have been so much closer to victory by the end of the week. I'd assume few people would wait until the night before and start power voting.

Got that from Wiki (yeah, I know), but it makes logical sense. In the final week, it was realized that her insane fans were so gung-ho that they might vote more than anyone else. Even still, she still barely pulled ahead of Glyn in the odds, who made a comeback after the roof controversy died down. I can guarantee that nobody outside of that group of diehards was on the fence between voting for Aisleyne or Glyn/Pete, and I certainly didn't see anything in the last week that altered my opinion of her in any way. The general public despised her throughout most of the run. Take a look at BBLB or Big Mouth....or how about all of the ex-housemates trying to capitalize on this when they were attempting to be voted back in?

I just don't believe it in the slightest. Never did we see one program where the public support for her came anywhere near Pete or Glyn. Not to mention polls on various BB forums that usually came close to the eviction percentages. You're basically saying she had a lead over Pete/Glyn in the first weekend, but managed to not only drop enough by the end of the week to fall to 22%, but Pete just magically managed to at least double her vote count after coming from behind. Come on.

All it comes down to is Paddy Power inflating Aisleyne far too high because they overestimated the message board base. A hundred psychotic Aisleyne fans on the official forum didn't translate to the mainstream. And I can't blame Paddy Power, either. It's easy to determine the betting odds for who is most likely to go, but it's much harder to gauge who will actually receive votes at the end of it all.

Whatever the case may be, people need to quit spewing out the "Aisleyne was winning" crud unless they have solid information.

And FAG, why don't you link me to information saying most of the voting is done on finale night?
