"No crime will go unpunished."
Do Australians really care about all those stupid rules? I thought everytime they mentioned rules in BB6 (and it was a LOT) it was beyond boring. Who really cares if they break stupid obscure irrelevant rules anyway. It looks like in that respect it's going to be even worse this season. |

Yeah, I don't care much for rule breakers.. It just takes up more of the show that is BORING.

But the punishment room was entertaining last season. My favorite was when Big Brother forced them to look at the red dot on the wall, and they lost money when they looked away. =P Karen sucked at that one, she must've lost like 50K.

I've only downloaded and watched one episode and it was the launch of the 5th series and it seemed good. But what i don't like about BBAUS is that they seem to steal ideas so FUCKING much, (richpoorhouse, starburst houseguest, twin twist, etc.) and its kind of turned me off of trying to get into it.

Quote: Secret Underground Room - Could be cool. No Beds - FUCKING opposite of what I want. MORE THAN ONE ROOM THIS YEAR BB. Two Bucket/Washing - Better not be true or I won't watch. |

The first would be cool, the second would be funny, the third would be mean (and funny).
ETA: Also, if the bulldozer was spotted, oops, I guess it's not a secret anymore. |

Re: Hmmm | ||

FORMER Big Brother winner Reggie Bird is enjoying the bliss of motherhood with the birth this week of her first child.
Bird, who won the third series of BB, has found happiness on the Gold Coast with her body builder turned firefighter fiance Dale Sorensen. The former fish and chips chick has had a rollercoaster ride since leaving the BB house clutching the $250,000 cheque in 2003. Her marriage fell apart and she moved to Sydney where an alleged conman took her winnings. Then she moved to Melbourne to work as a Virgin Blue trolley dolly. That did not work out, so she went into pub work. She met Sorensen while on holiday in Queensland in January last year. That took me as a bit of suprize, I knew she split from Adrian though. |

I read somewhere that there is gonna be siamese twins in the house.
Probably fake, but you know... |

Re: Hmmm | ||

That would be hillarious yet discusting at the same time.. haha.. If it's true they'd probably win just for being Siamase twins..

First controversy of the year --
MENTAL health experts will closely study how a Big Brother housemate suffering mild obsessive compulsive disorder is treated when the new series begins later this month. Producers have revealed one of the contestants has the disorder but have not indicated how the person and their disorder will be portrayed. Clinical psychologist Rocco Crino, of the Anxiety Disorder Alliance, said the person should not be exploited by the program or teased. "If it is mild OCD and there are no problems for the individual then that's fine," he said yesterday. "It may be that the condition is not obvious, we'll have to have a good look at it. It will really depend on how the program will portray and treats the person." Host Gretel Killeen said she was surprised the unknown housemate's condition had been revealed, but said the show always tried to reflect society. "I guess it's to show diversity and try and represent society to some degree because the house is a microcosm," she said yesterday. "But I need to find out more about this obsessive compulsive disorder before the show starts. "I don't know what the parameters are because I know a lot of people who would refer to themselves as that, but have not been diagnosed." Killeen also said she felt the show was victim of a vocal "minority" last year over the "turkey slapping" incident and others which led to a review of the television industry's code of conduct. Producers have acknowledged the climate has changed and will tone down the controversial series - including axing the weekly Uncut aduldt only version. This could be the PETE Release of Big Brother Australia |

Re: Hmmm | ||

Actually John who got kicked out last year for the "turkey slap" was the Pete of BBAU. He had tourettes but it was much less severe (and much less emphasized) than Pete's.

Yeah I knew that, You could see him twitch occasionally, and give retarded looking faces.

Yes, too bad his face was already "retarded looking" enough without the tourettes.

Quote: The funniest part was when one of his pals would be voted out. He would start twitching and fidgeting like his head was going to explode. My favorite was when Dino was voted out, because the big bully boys had no idea that was going to happen. They were all so ugly - Dino was actually pretty good looking. I always wondered if he had anything to do with them once they were back in the outside world. So apparently David from last season was voted out of Dancing With the Stars Australia last week, at the final four. He tried to quit, didn't he, right before he found out he was voted out, because he didn't want to take the spot of anyone else? I heard he wasn't a very good dancer. |

Quote: I guess for some but the guy was suuuuuuchhh a bitch and not in a good way. I usually agree with you James on a lot of stuff but this time, agh!! lol. And the whole OCD thing it's such exploitation of people. I know people who personally suffer from OCD and I can tell you it's very hard to deal with sometimes in normal life. Still even with mild cases, in a house like that it can totally magnify it by 1000 fold. With Pete, it was clear the stress of the house did affect his Tourrettes and I can imagine the same will be said with someone with OCD. They are going to pick someone with visible OCD obviously, I just don't think that type of environment will do any good for someone with OCD and can reallly damage them. One day, these producers are going to push it too far with their casting limits and something tragic will happen like someone killing themselves. They don't really screen for the Celeb version well, Jo nearly offed herself a few months ago. Anyone with anything of a mental illness or issues should not be in that sort of place ever. Just nuts but I'm pretty sure they'll make it a focus of this year. |

Quote: I read a little bit on this, Apparently he didn't want to stay over someone he's friends with, and tried to quit. WHAT IS WITH DAVID? WHY IS HE SUCH A QUITTER? I just found out that one of my FAVORITE singers was on Dancing on Ice.. with the stars.. In some other country, and she won. GO SITA ^_^.. lol (OT I KNOW) ![]() 8 DAYS! |

Quote: He was a huge asshole, but I still thought he looked good. When he didn't speak and went around in his underwear, he was fine. At least he did seem to realize (or pretend to realize) his homophobia and seemed embarrassed about his behavior in the house. Jamie/John/Ashley never did. |

Re: Hmmm | ||
Quote: Isn't that true with most men Jamie/John/Ashley homophobic? Nothing pops into my memory right now but let's just say I'm not suprised at all. I remember Dino being genuinely concerned about the gay stuff and wanting to understand David better. Seemed genuine. Fuck, I just hope the next bunch is not Laguna meets the O.C. meets fugly again a la last year. |

Re: Hmmm | ||
Quote: There was a lot of that type of stuff said when they had to do a ballet task. David asked them to watch what they said and they got in a huff. There were other occasions where they seemed to be on the verge of the same. I think Jamie in particular had a lot of hostility towards David for that reason (although David was not exactly a great role model for gays). I hated Jamie. I thought he was incredibly fake and manipulative. The closest we came to seeing the real Jamie was his awful behavior the week he was nominated with Katie. |
