Its not as good as S2, but its turning out better than I thought it would so far. The longer Dick, Jen and Eric stay, the better.

I think one of the best things about this season that a lot of people seem to be overlooking is the fact that with the enemies twist, two of them were kicked out right off the bat (although I wish it'd been Jessica over Carol) and the other is a relationship that people actually care about. Compare that to BB4, where there was a ton of animosity towards the exes at first and then it became a non-issue. So once Joe got out, it pretty much became a regular season with an interesting wrench thrown in with Dick and Daniele. Much better than a catfight over $5. |

I definitely feel like this season is better than last season with Erikkka and all that stuff.
I think it's going to give BB6 a run for its money as best season yet in terms of entertainment...especially if Jen betrays Dick next week. I think this season is more stressful than BB6 because this season, people are taking different sides...whereas in BB6 people all took the same side--anti-Nerd Herd (except for a few idiots). People want THEIR favorites to end up looking good, and therefore root for them more intensely...making people more into the show. |

I don't like this season much because it's so predictable and EVERYBODY in the house is a douchebag. There's not even one person that I'm rooting for. Oh, and I don't think Dick's tirades are entertaining in the least. He's just a mean, dirty old man, that's all.

This season is well on its way to becoming one of the best. There is a TON of drama, alot of strategizing and alot of unbelievably crazy characters. The problem with this year is that its hard to find someone to really root for. Jen, Jameka, and Jess would all be tolerable winners but as for the rest...ugh.
I do think that BB2 and BB6 will always rank as the best seasons. With BB3 and BBAS not too far behind. BB4 sucked hardcore but we got Jun as a winner..she is easily only second to Will as best BB winner. And um BB5 sucked. |

I love Daniele, much moreso than Janelle even. I like this season because it has the Guatemala factor of eliminating everyone boring at the beginning.
This week is a win/win because you know we're guaranteed more Kail/Jen drama if Kail stays, and if Kail leaves then we have more repercussions of Eric's votes still ahead. I don't care if you hate them or not, if you want Kail/Jen/Dick/Daniele/Eric to leave the house the you want a repeat of BB5 with boring final weeks. |

I do find the season interesting, and it stands a good chance of rivaling BB6. All the fractured little alliances, backstabbing, in your face confrontations makes things entertaining.

for me it was season 6 and all-stars -season six probably moreso, just in terms of how nervous and pumped up I was for Janelle battling the nerd herd. I couldn't even watch the tv at the final comp between Ivette and Janelle -when they tied, I was screaming up and down. And then last summer's saturday night out on the town to hurry back to see the Janelle veto results.
Loved Amy and Marcellas' antics too and was a big Amy fan at the time. Only watched some of season four and really got into pulling for Nakomis against the Hoursemen. And caught up with season two way post its season. |

Am I the only one who didn't like BB6?
Overall, it was really, really boring for me. 80% of the cast didn't even do anything. BB3 is the best, followed by closely by BB2. Honestly, I think all of the BB seasons were good, except for 4 and the later half of 7. |

I don't see this season surpassing Big Brother 3 or Big Brother 2 in my eyes, but it's surpassed Big Brother 6, which I was not expecting. Though that season brought the drama, this season brings drama and shifting alliances.

i def. dont think that it is season 7 quality (my vote as best season) but i do think it is comparable to season 6... in terms of drama and some of the characters it is very similar, almost too similar, which is why i sometimes feel like im just watching an BB6 re-do. the one thing that it might end up having that season 6 didnt is two potential janelle-esque threats in comps - if dani and JEN can make it a few more weeks and keep going tit for tat in comps it would be great television and a very interesting dynamic.

BB6 is very unwatchable now because there really wasn't much change past week 2. This alliance vs that alliance was exciting at the time since one was so loved and one was so hated, but now that we're past that it's pretty boring to rewatch since the only real drama are the big blowup fights, and there weren't as many as we like to remember.
This is shaping up to be my favorite season after 2, which will never be beaten even if another season's quality is technically better. It's the Borneo of Big Brother. I forgot to add, one of the main reasons why this season is so much better than other recent ones is that the main twist blew up relatively early. Carol and Joe leaving just left Dick and Daniele, which were the only relatively interesting enemies with any substance. The rest are complete strangers and we haven't had that many strangers since BB3. |

I don't know. Every season of Big Brother had something good in it, I don't think there's ever been a bad season. I liked BB5 ... maybe it was my first full season and that's why I enjoyed it so much. I just liked a lot of the characters, though it did have a very trashy element to it. I think the last weeks ruined it. I remember how crazy everyone was getting on the internet when it was Diane vs. Jase in the endurance challenge, that shit was intense.

what season 6 and 7 had that no other season will ever have is the Sovs and the intense fandom love or hate they brought to every episode and compeition... it was like every HOH and POV had this super bowl aura to it and it was like do or die depending on who you were rooting for.

TSO nailed it. BB6 is the best season for the forseeable future,and All Stars is up there. BB6, being split up into good and evil sides,feels very epic. I was only an occasional bb watcher and only sometimes reading the reports. BB6 raised an uproar of interest here in 2005 and in me. People were raised to god like status,like Kaysar,and thats why hes so disliked now,because hes not a god. Nor is Howie,or James,nor,hold your breath,Janelle. Im fond still of all these people,even Jameth has his moments you must admit. And you must also admit that Janelle isnt perfect.As beautiful, witty,smart,hilarious and tough she is,shes also ill tempered,impatient and impulsive. This is why BB6 is superior to BB8,though it is very good.It doesnt have epic, yet human players. Despite bb6 being the best season, Dr Will will ALWAYS be the representitive of intelligence and coolness
