Drew B wrote:I'll give you Wade's, but Brian's was really quite forgettable. Bollywood and Disco were waaay more memorable than that one. Plus, Max and Kayla were two of the least charismatic dancers on the show. BTW, I'm sure Twitch had more training than Chbeeb considering he was teaching and taking classes at the same school Katee worked at. And it showed -- as much as I disliked Twitch, he would have performed that Tango far better than Phillip did. |

I love you seaguy.
Twitch sucked ass. Just because the judges said he was wonderful at some shit doesn't mean he was. I'm sure if Philip got to hide behind a bed or stand around pretending to ignore his partner for half the dance he would have looked better too. At least they're not being so completely ridiculous when it comes to judging Chbeeb. And if I said "the fighting for the throne dance" today, people won't know what I'm talking about, much less if I say it two months from now. Now, if I say "that dance where they made the one guy wear those hideous rust colored harem pants", maybe. |

CG and Drew--
I'm really not rabid (much!)--just trying to argue for a little patience. I actually agree with some points. I've been saying for weeks that his biggest challenge will be in his face. That said you'd be hard pressed to find me actively hating on any of the top 20 of any season, if only b/c I know they are all amazing in their own right to even have made it there. I know that kind of kumbaya attitude is not the Sucks Way (lol--I should by now anyway--I've been around here since the paleolithic era) I just find it harder to revel in the dissing of these kids--unlike all the other shows we love to hate on around here. I rarely dislike any of the dancers. Do I enjoy some more than others and recognize you guys do too? Sure, but I guess this is one show where I never really get into the bandwagon hate thing. Shit, I liked Twitch. **ducks and covers** Am I really trying trying hard to pre-empt and argue my faves corner? Sure I am. eta: I also knew the Chbeeb backlash was coming (as a perceived TCO and 'OMG he's just a popper') from day one, so I guess I've been trying to get out the 'wait and see' vote--especially since most people haven't even seen him be AMAZING as he is yet.

I love you anyway. And a lesbian minister friend of mine just moved to your hood, so I'll for no discernible reason give you extra points.

Kayla DID stumble. I noticed that right away, and was wondering if the judges would lick her proverbial... uh... whatever anyway...

I bet Kayla will win. They are creaming over her every move. I also think they'll want a girl winner this year. Whatever, I don't' care anymore.
It's like Idol this season, I don't care since the cast is so awful.

Max is smiliing politely, indicating that although he is disappointed, he is happy for Vitiolo and Asuka (he would have congratulated them, but Vitiolo was too busy screaming and whooping it up). That is the expected reaction. Vitiolo's celebration was very OTT and AFAIK, unprecedented under this circumstance. The bitchface illustrates Kayla's sense of entitlement. It's normal... for a bitch. You're supposed to be gracious in defeat. |

I'm sure that Vitolio was 1000% sure that he was in the bottom when it was down to him vs. Max/Kayla. Really, would ANYBODY have expected TCO to be in the
bottom in week 2 after a routine that was universally praised? The shock factor would have been plenty to make Vitolio forget to be considerate of their
feelings...
micknrc wrote: I can be as patient as the next guy, but since people are being eliminated NOW, I hate to see people who have done a better job go home... I loved Philip's audition two years ago SOOO much, and I would like nothing more than for him to rock in these other genres and knock my socks off. However, this week was really bad. If he had been in the bottom three, it would have been warranted. If he had been eliminated, it would have been warranted. Since he wasn't in the bottom three, then he gets a chance again next week. If he does a great job then, I'll be on his side and wishing the best for him. |

Yeah, Philip is awesome at hip hop and he's super likeable, but he's just not in the same league as the others. I don't think anyone fails to
recognize how talented he is in his genre, and I hope he can do something with it after this show. If not, he's in college for a real career!

I think people are being too hard on Vitolio. Just because he was saved until the end doesn't mean he can't celebrate his victory like everyone else
who was announced safe. He was a little loud, but that's just his character "MIAMI BABY! CALIENTE, WOOOOOOH!"

Oh, and for the person who asked how the tour routines work when one of the partners was eliminated; it depends, I think, on how many routines each of the top
10 have. In season 3, the alternates we're Anya, Shauna, Jesus, and Hok. Obviously Hok did his hummingbird routine, but Danny/Anya's jive was actually
done with Jaimie (I saw videos of it; she was completely atrocious, as expected). Probably because the only non-Hok routine was the horrible paso-waltz she did
with Dominic, and they certainly weren't going to have that on the tour. If they had Anya do the jive, then she would, at that point, have been doing more
dances than Jaimie, which would seem unfair to her fans.
I think they let alternates do popular routines from the show with their original partners, as long as they don't get more dances than the top 10, I think. |

Agreed with the people who don't think it was too OTT, and we've definitely seen more OTT reactions.
I don't think that there is as mismatched and as uncomfortable a couple than Asuka and Vitolio. They are oil and water in regards to personality and temperment. I actually think Caitlin and Jason are a worse pair. I think they're terrible together. |

Actually thinking about it, only Randi and Evan seem to be a comfortable match this season. All the rest seem forced. Doesn't mean they can't dance
great together (Janette and Brandon) it's just that there isn't a connection between most of the couples in my mind.
