That doesn't mean that when they develop new attractions for the park, they're doing so to get more cars in their lots... They want to keep popular contestants around. Probably for every one person a popular dancer brings to the tour, they bring tens of thousands of viewers to the show. THAT is what the producers and the network care about. The fact that it also means the popular dancer goes on tour is purely ancillary... If he was horrible he'd be gone because he wouldn't add to the tour. So are you saying he's NOT horrible? If that's the case, they don't need shenanigans. He'll last because he's worthy. No, what I think you meant to say is that if he wasn't POPULAR, he'd be gone because he wouldn't add to the tour. But if he wasn't popular, that also means he doesn't add to the show. All I'm saying is that what he adds to the show is a much greater consideration for them than what he adds to the tour...

Some hip hop from the Aussie version. The first is from the top 20 show, but the 2nd one was choreographed by NappyTabs when they came over here (hence why it was one of the better ones). Still can't believe Talia was a ballerina, bitch killed the routine! |

I forgot how great the Aussie version was last season.
One of my favorite routines is the 'divorce' dance choreographed by Tabitha and her hubby (can't remember his name). |

Ya, you know what. I think I would rather go back and watch the past season of Aus SYTYCD than continue on with this one. There were so many great
personalities and the music and choreography is heads above US and Canada (sigh).
Great group routines. I wonder if they do ask Jason G to tone down his routines or if he saves his best for the Aus version. I would want my best to be for my home country's version. Here is hoping that US can find some spark it is lacking this season. |

I don't see any conspiracy. I see a flexible plan. I honestly do not see the judges keeping Phillip around if he hits Bottom 3, and I think he might in the
next few weeks.

LOL! I got chills and then I teared up so bad. She is fucking amazing!
But the choreography is just brilliant in the AUS version of this show. I'd put Canada behind it in terms of dancers and choreography though, not the US. |

No offense, but that Talia Quickstep really was not a real Quickstep. Sure, the parts that were actually a Quickstep were done well but most of it was a bunch
of flashy tricks and lifts. I mean really, cartwheels in a Quickstep? If Dancesport couples did cartwheels in their Quicksteps during competitions they'd
be banned from the competition.
That Quickstep reminds me of Kupono/Kayla's Vinnese Waltz - lots of flashy tricks, very little Waltzing. |

Okay, this Talia bitch won, right? Because if she didn't, then WHAT THE FUCK?
If she did, that totally makes up for Asuka going out. |

SurvivorArctic, here's another dance eyegasm for you...
A quickstep samba....Hmmm, seems like the Aussies FUSE together dance styles. Like that Quickstep posted earlier up the page? It was like a fusion of Quickstep with West Coast Swing. |

SYTYCD AUS is hands down 1000000x better.
Better dancers, better choreographers, better all the way around. Although, I do miss Katee and Josh from last season. I re-watched a few of their numbers today (Bollywood, contemporary and samba), I have yet to see anyone this season that makes me smile when I watch them like I did with those two last year |

Agreed. Katee and Josh's Bollywood was actually better than Talia and Loredo's from Australia.
Jason Gilkison needs to choreograph for this current US group one time.....but don't waste it on sucktastics. Wait for a Melissa or a Janette or somebody who is actually stepping it up. Melissa could be America's version of Talia, but NO ONE can top TALIA! Not even GranMelissa... |
