Lil C needs to shut the buck up.

Considering Broadway is probably the best opportunity for these people to get a job post-show, why would they cut it? You have to be incredibly athletic and it helps to be cheesy. That's why Evan's good at it. He looks like Peter Pan.

Also, for me if I'm going to see "Broadway" dancing (again what they call Broadway), I want the singing with it so (in my non technical and uneducated dancing way) I want the singing AND the dancing in a SYTYCD Broadway style number which we obviously aren't going to get. The Broadway I am referring to though is definitely what is categorized in the show itself not "real" Broadway since, as you said, it can be various styles. You hit the nail on the head, it's cheesy how they do it and the only way I can enjoy something like that is if someone sings the shit out of a song while doing it.
