MJ was awesome last night, you guys. I posted my little concert review in the Cook thread, but I thought I'd post just my MJ review here:
Michael Johns - He is a sexy bitch. He was wearing a scarf and a jacket yet didn't really seem to sweat. He is a cool sexy bitch. He began with "We are the Champions" and that got the crowd, men and women, up off their asses - including yours truly - and going nuts. His second song was great. And for his last song, "Dream On", I thought for sure we'd have to call for medics. Because when he hit those high glory notes at the end (any fan of the song knows of what I speak), the over 18 women completely and utterly lost their collective shit. Talk about an arena-wide orgasm. It was awesome. Oh, and he introduced the song as "the song that got me kicked off American Idol." Hee! |

I was reading some fan girl's account of meeting David and Michael after the concert (in Portland, I think). She had only brought the picture of David from the People magazine Bachelor thing. She got David to sign it, and the Johns came along. She told him she was embarrassed but she only had the picture of David, but would he still sign it anyway? Apparently, he started talking loudly and giving David a bunch a shit about how it's interesting that people get better looking after winning Idol. And the he signed the girl's David picture with "I LOVE DAVID COOK! M.J."
