Didn't somebody use their shoes in exchange for money once? When did this rule come into effect? It's stupid.

Because then people will randomly bring extra items to get rid of instead of using the money they're supposed to use.
CNR, Dandrew tried but their cabbie said no. |

The guys probably could have bartered for a lower faire without the "gifts" There arn't too many rules, the rules are simple, it's just that the stunt men don't think they need to follow them. |

The rules that they got penalized on such as tonight and the one where the car lead them....it feels like both those things have been done before in one way or
another. I think the rule about giving up personal possessions sucks. super lulz at the preview i just saw.

Begging at airports is not allowed, after Heather/Eve made tons of money in TAR3 that way. I don't think begging in general is not allowed.

Whatever. The fact is, they go over all the rules before the game begins. They all know the rules, so there are no excuses for breaking them.

Kisha and Jen didn't beg for money. They begged for a cabbie to give them a free ride.
I still think it's kind of a dumb rule. The begging for money thing I understand because you're begging for money from people who have nothing but bartering with them? I don't see much wrong with that. I used to like team Mini Men but they have really annoyed me lately and now I wish they would have been Philiminated tonight. |

If it's a ridiculous rule, than it should be gotten rid of. |

The rule is fine. People will just start bringing jewelery with them in their bags to use instead of money. And that would make money obsolete. Besides,
Mark/Mike seemed like they knew the rule when Phil told them. No excuses there.

I have yet to find a TAR rule that has been ridiculous. In fact all the new ones were added to simply deal with players that were pushing the limits of the
game. (Ferns, bribing, time credits, one teamplayer not doing roadblocks).

Really? IIRC Uchenna begged at the airports in the finale leg Maybe it was just American airports, then. |

Will wrote: I enjoy all of those contingencies, thank you very much. The disallowment of ferns, bribery, etc is the equivalent of the HII and Final 3 on Survivor. They are plot devices designed by those too squeamish to let reality roll along as is. |

It's the 120 minute penalty that I'm wondering about. It just seems weird that the penalty for almost everything else is 30 minutes and this penalty
was 120 minutes.

I, however, disagree with that being the equivalent of the HII/F3, that would be the YIELD/UTURN. meatball77 wrote:Quitting a roadblock is 4 hours and I believe doing a detour completely wrong was 12 hours (something like that, haven't seen season 1 in a while) |

Minor penalties though. Bribing a cab driver is more in line with taking a cab instead of walking or riding in an unauthorized vehicle as opposed to quitting
a task.

How could you forget the 24 HOUR PENALTY! *Loud scream*
I dislike all the major adjustments they have made to the Race. I'm sick of them trying to engineer certain outcomes. |
