Oh God, I agree. I dunno which one I like less. I've had a few files of FF8 and never even replayed FFX so I guess that's saying something.








20. Smithy (Super Mario RPG)

I freaking love this game. Smithy was an especially epic villain that brought Mario and Bowser together to fight to save the mushroom kingdom!!!! Unfortunately, that's all I really remember about Smithy's story. I don't remember where he came from (uh... the sky?) and I thought that he was actually the giant sword that crashed into Bowser's castle for like 3/4s of the game. So why did I even rank him this high? The battle with his is EPIC! It's soooooooooo difficult. Even with all my characters at the maximum level (yes, this game has a max level) Smithy was extremely difficult. The battle is multi-tier and the battle music is EXTRA EPIC! Like, it's probably the best battle music of any boss ever... and here it is in a nifty youtube clip:














19. Wario (Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins)

So, I hardly need to introduce Wario. He has sorta become less of a villain as the years have gone by, but I fondly remember the gameboy game in which he made his debut. <3

















18. Baby Bowser (Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island)

Baby Bowser made his debut in Yoshi's Island which is by far one of the best SNES games. OK, I'm a little biased ranking him this high, but he's a classic character that made many reappearances afterwards because of his popularity. As a final boss, he's really fun to battle and I enjoy the music. He's also a little brat which is soooooo cute. Can't ask for much more.













17. Kuja (Final Fantasy IX)

Kuja. Is. Male. Just getting that out of the way. The reason why he is ranked mid-list and not near the top is because he's a complete re-hash of a previous FF antagonist. They really didn't even try to make him original at all. However, Kuja is still kind of badass. From the first time you meet him, you're just like "Who IS this dickwad!?!?" And he is a mysterious dude the whooooole game. In the end, he summons the all-powerful being (Necron) to destroy the world and you have to stop it which is kinda cool. But Kuja's not going down without a fight either. I find the fight with him to be difficult not but too difficult (cuz he's not actually the final boss). Annnnd that's kind of it. Kuja is not original enough to really comment on... But he's still cool with me.
















16. Zemus/Zeromus (Final Fantasy IV)

Zemus is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy IV and then he turns into Zeromus... and Zeromus is like a giant freakish half body mutant thing... Whatever he is, he looks like he's gonna eat a bitch. Anyways, if I remember correctly, Zemus is gonna make the moon crash into the Earth or something like that because he's been controling Golbez who's actually the brother of Cecil the protagonist and blah blah blah the plot is confusing. I don't even want to get into the debate that Golbez should be considered the antagonist of this game. Whatever, Zeromus is cool and I like him and that's all that matters!
