But not tonight cuz I'm too tired and the apocalypse has sent me over to OT to search through the wreckage.

15. M. Bison (Street Fighter series)

Back in the day when Street Fighter 2 was THE GAME that everybody played, you were the man if you could beat all your friends (and I could, go Chun-Li!!!). M. Bison was the final boss and man, he gave me a hard time. He would always do that thing where he jumps on your head! It worked every time. It really took some practice to take down M.Bison. What I like about him is that giant creepy smile he has on his face. Soooooo sinister. And his stage had that huge bell in it didn't it? Yeah, that was cool.





















14. Time Devourer (Chrono Cross)

ROFL @ the guy's name being "Coke." Anyways, the story of Chrono Cross is so freaking complicated, but this is the real final boss. The Time Devourer is a Lavos spawn that fused with princess Schala and it's not only going to destroy the world, but space & time too. Awwww... that sucks. So, you go to the space between dimensions to have an epic battle with him. You can kill him two ways. You can whittle down his HP and he'll die, or you can cast elements in a secretly revealed order and then cast the almighty element, the Chrono Cross, to destroy the Time Devourer and free Schala from their joint existence! Yeah, you're supposed to do it the complicated way... That actually makes for a not so fun battle either... Looking back on this ranking, I should have put the Time Devourer way lower on the list... Oh well.




















13. Mother Brain (Metroid Series)

Mother Brain is the brain spawner and controller of the metroids that are sucking the life out of people in Samus's space world. So of course you have to go kill her. In the first Metroid game, Mother Brain is just a brain in a capsule that you shoot a couple times and she's destroyed. However, when she makes her reappearance in Super Metroid, she sprouts a dinosaur body and attacks you!!! RAWWWWR! I thought that was kinda neat. If you've played both games, you get to Mother Brain in Super Metroid and she looks just like how she looked the first time, but then she launches out and you gotta fight her in mutant dinosaur form which is a pretty sweet surprise. I've always liked the premise of the alien queen bad guy and it definitely works in the Metroid series. Unfortunately I haven't really kept up with the updated Metroid games (for gamecube and wii and all that) so I don't know if Mother Brain is still calling the shots or not.






















12. Mana Beast (Secret of Mana)

The Mana Beast really isn't a bad guy... it's not a good guy either though otherwise it wouldn't be on this list. What happens is that the main bad guy (who will appear on this list!!!!) messes up the mana (think the planet's energy) of the world so bad that the Mana Beast is called upon by the planet to kill everybody. Yayyyyy! So after you kill the main bad guy, you know the game isn't over because the Mana Beast is on its way! You just know it's gonna be a tough battle and you fear its power! I rank it this high because the battle is SO FUN! It requires strategy and timing and you gotta know how to utilize your spells in the best way possible. There's also some KICKASS battle music for this fight. Love it. <3

























11. Giygas (Earthbound)

You cannot grasp the true form of Giygas' attack. I freaking LOVE Giygas and I freaking LOVE Earthbound. It's truly a classic game that was overlooked at the time of its release but has certainly gotten the recognition it deserved when Ness was put into Super Smash Brothers. I'm proud to say that I own an original SNES cartridge of this game (but I got it from a used game store so it didn't come with the scratch-and-sniff players guide, d'oh!). So, Giygas is the embodyment of evil. It's as simple as that. He was a person before. And I kind of forget how he turned into Giygas because that happens more in Mother (the unreleased-in-Ameica prequel of Earthbound), but I do know that Giygas' presence is everywhere in the Earthbound world from rabid animals to crazy bag ladies to ramblin evil mushrooms! An insectoid alien comes from the future which is ruled by Giygas with an iron fist to tell the chosen one to gather his friends and stop Giygas in the present before he becomes even more evil than he already is! The battle with Giygas is soooooooooooo epic (that word has been thrown around a lot on this list). Your rival (who will also appear on the list) taunts you the whole time while Giygas unleashes evil energy on you. You can only attack him for a limited amount of time, then he foes wild and your one and only hope of defeating Giygas.... is to PRAY! Yes, PRAY! Your friend Paula has that "pray" option in her battle menu that you never used because it's totally useless... until now! All of the people you've met along your journey suddenly get a feeling that you're in trouble and they start praying for you. Naturally, Giygas doesn't understand love and happiness and all that jazz so he starts imploding and stuff. OMG, I could go on, but this write-up is way too long as it is. GIYGASOWNAGE!






I'm trying to keep the write-ups short but I just get so into it. I love video games a little too much. :P

Yu Yevon = LAME.
Ultimecia = Kinda lame story, but epic battle and great battle music.
Kuja = Kuja. is. male. Rehashed story, pretty good battle. Overall good because he's creepy/mysterious.
