I had to stop following this thread once all the updates stopped revolving around cartoon bad guys from, like, SNES games. Which was ages ago, I'm afraid.
Oh well. I was surprised to know as many of these villains as I did.

Rinoa is the worst character ever from any game ever and she's an extremely huge part of why FF8 is so terrible.

5. Bowser (Super Mario series)
    
It's Bowser! We all know him and we all love him! He eternally hates Mario and wants to rule the Mushroom Kingdom. He always kidnaps Peach (Princess Toadstool in the old days) and Mario has to come rescue her or else the Mushroom Kingdom is thrown into turmoil! Ahhhhhhh! Personally, I love Bowser. He's probably the most famous video game bad guy in the world and has appeared in countless Nintendo games as both the bad guy AND as a playable character! :O I actually love playing as Bowser (he's awesome in Super Mario RPG), but to my knowledge, there has not been a game yet where Bowser is the hero. I'm glad about this because my favorite kind of Bowser is the evil kind! The battles with Bowser are always extra epic and he always brings something new to the table. I haven't beaten Super Mario Galaxy yet, but I'm excited to get to the end because I know Bowser will be waiting for me. <3 4. Ganon (Legend of Zelda series)   
On a side note, originally I google image searched "Gannon" and got lots of naked pictures of some guy who was a high profile male escort for political figures or something like that. Haha, gross. Anyways, Ganon! The name strikes fear into the hearts of many and for good reason! Ganon is powerful as hell and scary!!!!! In case y'all haven't noticed, I like when the final boss has a badass reputation before going into the final battle. That kind of buildup makes the final encounter extra epic and Ganon/Ganondorf ALWAYS has an epic buildup! I think my favorite Zelda game is The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the SNES. Ganon is seriously at his best there. He like many bad guys wants to rule the world and he would have succeeded if it weren't for Link and Zelda. All the good Zelda games end with a battle with Ganon. Ok, that's all for this update! I'm saving the top 3 for their own update. :D |

I played that Ocarina of Time Zelda game, so I know Ganon. Granted, I only saw him in the opening scene because that game was so boring and there's no way I was ever going to come anywhere near finishing it. |

Bowser and Ganon <3 Both classics but way too horribly slow for me in Smash. </3
I believe Bowser is playable again in Super Paper Mario, but I've never played it. I think I prefer Ganondorf over pig Ganon. So the top 3 are all cult classics who first appeared in the SNES? Hmm... |
