Also, why do TV shows always have such stereotyped highschool roles? Maybe my town was different, but it just wasn't so divided. Sure, there were clicks but no strict definitions like on T.V.

Same here. I think it was probably because I went to a pretty small school, and when you party out in a cornfield with people, you form a bond.

This is very much the reason why its harder to relate to. I went to a magnet school that had an enrollment of about 400 students, with my graduating class having 87 people in it. We all were very much friends with each other by mid-way through our sophomore year. Heck, we even had an end-of year pool party at someone's house -- and everyone went. The main high school that we were located at, though, had 3,000 students in it, and there was somewhat a hierarchy to it. It helped that the "dorky" clubs and activities were good, though, so the jocks/cheerleaders/popular kids didn't have as much ammo to work with. It was more of a cliquish thing -- groups simply didn't interact with each other outside the classroom. No one was overtly mean to each other, though. In fact, the way that high school is shown in the show is more like how my middle school experience was than high school.

Does anyone know if they are going to start up the show again before or after October baseball month? While I want this show to start sooner rather than later, I don't want to have to endure one or two episodes and then have a month-long hiatus for baseball.
