Brilliantly edited show- emmy calibre. |

Who didn't think Sierra was toast right up until the very end? And the editors threw in every snake, spider and double take they had. The editors know all
the tricks, and know we know them, but still managed to pull off a nice surprise.
Bye bye crazy Tyson Puckster! Thanks again, Survivor. |

Last week it was easy to tell the Brendan speerheads the Exile Alliance + JT to get Coach out stuff was a red heering. This week though I really thought she
was going until the 2nd Tyson vote was read.

A Sierra boot was a little too obvious to actually happen...I was thinking Tyson (or someone other than Sierra) was toast from early on...

plus when you're being shoved with "Sierra is a lone duck, can she fight back?" in the preview over and over again. We automatically knew she
isn't going to go anywhere.

I thought Debbie winning Immunity was the end for Sierra. I'm fooled once again because I thought Sierra's only chance is to win the IC.

I don't think Survivor can ever win an Emmy for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program. With shows like The Amazing Race, the producers can submit an
episode and the voters still get the suspense at the end. With Survivor, it takes weeks for you to care about the characters and appreciate the editing.

about the brilliantly edited show: i love how they show stephen as soon as dishonesty is mentioned to make him hated. and how the try to make it look like he
didnt do all the strategy work in the recaps. it just makes rooting for him more fun since im the only doing it pretty much <3
sadly however that means he wont win |

Are you kidding? The editing was completely obvious. The striking snake that immediately pans to Sierra, Coach and JT shaking hands and then showing the
handshake breaking, every time Coach talked about how JT was so trustworthy, it cut to JT cutting his eyes (a telltale sign of a lie).
Tyson's boot was totally predictable. |

Anyone who looks for these things knows that the editors like throw red herrings out there to generate some suspense in an otherwise routine boot. This time, I
thought they were guilding the liley too much. No matter how they twisted things, Sierra would be gone. For what they had to work with, a good job for the
editors.

It very was clear Sierra wasn't going anywhere the entire episode (and even before that, thanks to the previews). That it was going to be Tyson wasn't
clear (to me, at least), until Erinn brought up the idea of blindsiding him.

Debbie beating Sierra last minute at the immunity challenge was more shocking than Tyson being booted at tribal.

However went last was going to win that one, so...

I was watching and thinking "this is so heavy handed...it CAN'T be a Sierra boot, can it?"

I was thinking Sierra would be safe especially when she almost won. But when Debbie knocked her puck, I thought Sierra was going to be toast.
