Someone gives up the necklace for another? Tricksy play with the HII? Someone gives up their family visit? |

"The Ultimate Sacrifice" was also the title of the Finale of Palau, referring to Ian's decision to step down and take 3rd place so that Katie and
Tom could be final 2.
All we can hope for is that this time around, the "sacrifice" doesn't have as much of an anticlimactic effect over the season as a whole. |

'The Ultimate Sacrifice' Coach does something trivial and then glorifies himself in a confessional ? |

You know what? I always believe Debbie places Coach in front of herself.

I always had in the back of my mind that they showed Taj telling both Stephen and JT that she would let them use the HII if they needed it and saying how she
wouldn't want either of them to go out prematurely along with the whole possession is 9/10 of the law may come into play later.
I wonder if they has to do with their triangle and the HII |

Sounds like something Coach would say in one of his "poetic" moments or something haha.
Perhaps he gets the boot next week, or as Skrtel mentioned, maybe Debbie takes the fall for him (but I doubt this--especially if they turn on each other on tonight's episode like the press release seems to indicate, or Debbie goes home tonight).

I bet Taj gives up the idol to save JT or Stephen (probably JT). If Debbie had done that for Tyson, Sierra probably would have been gone. Since Taj is so below
radar, she really doesn't need the idol anyway, so it's better to hand it over to keep their numbers intact.

Taj doesn't have the idol, Stephen does.

Perhaps Coach falls on his sword as a true warrior...Nah! What was I thinking.

Although, if he knows he's getting voted out, I can see him making it out be his idea and him sacrificing himself so someone else could stay in the game,
even though that's what was happening anyways.

I think that it might have something to do with the HII.

shades of Amazon??
A SELFLESS ACT In a yet another twist to the game, host Jeff Probst offered Matthew a proposition: "If you are willing to give up your visit from your mother, I will make sure that your five other tribemates will all get a visit from their loved ones." In an apparently selfless act, Matthew sacrificed the good of the individual for the good of the group and allowed his tribe to embrace their loved ones as they came running out from around the corner. After allowing the friends and family members a chance to talk with the teary-eyed Survivors, they were soon sent away. However, not wanting Matthew's noble act to go unrewarded, Jeff surprised the group again when Matthew's mother arrived on her own boat. "You and your mom will have a night together at an Amazonian tribal village," Jeff explained. ETA: sorry cindi, didn't read your post closely enough to see your amazon mention. |

No, the HII expires in the penultimate episode ... final 5.
Though it could have something to do with the HII, considering people are more likely to try a blindside since they know it'll be used at final 5. |

chapera rocks wrote: I'm positive that the HII expired at final 6 in Gabon. Corinne said that in one of her exit interviews. Af first I thought that she was wrong but when Sugar gave it to Matty (even though he was in no danger) at final 6 TC, it showed that she was correct. Corinne was a juror so she would have known. Perhaps with only 16 contestants, it will last till final 5 in Tocantins. |

I predict taj sacrifices her family visit for her tribe, but then gets to see him anyway. I think Debbie leaves next episode in a blindside.
