I bought a 12 pack of this Pepsi Throwback last night at the store. I've had two so far and I've given one to my sister, my boyfriend, and a friend. We
all agree it tastes better than regular Pepsi. It's not as sticky tasting. It doesn't leave that syrupy filmy feeling that regular pop sometimes does.

the mexican food section of my grocery store has glass bottled coke with real sugar. kosher soft drinks are also made with sugar and not hfcs.

remember the whole 'new coke' debacle back in, what, the early 80's? they came out with New Coke and everyone hated it, so they scrambled around
and presented us with 'classic coke', which never really tasted right. we used to joke and say that someone at the coke hq lost the original recipe and
that's why it was screwed up, but i just recently found out that it was because they'd made the switch to high fructose corn syrup.
i love those hfcs commercials....could they have put the 'corn refiners association' in any less noticeable font/color? 'it's fine in moderation' is a hilarious statement, considering it's hard to find anything but whole foods that don't have the damn stuff in it. yay to pepsi for coming out with their throwback! |

My husband has been drinking the Whole Foods coke. It has real sugar and he says it's pretty good.

anywhere that sells mexican foods or kosher foods will have coke/pepsi with sugar. passover was a couple of weeks ago so there might still be kosher at your
local grocery.
