Item sent by mistake |

My son bought a watch on-line and paid $240 for it. However when it arrived, it was a much more expensive watch than the one he paid for. The sellers said
that he received the wrong watch and they want it to be sent back. Is he obligated to do so (by law)? My son says that he'll just say that he never
received the watch that they are saying was a mistake.

This is the kind of thing that could trash a person's Ebay cred.

I bought a watch online. They sent me a notice saying the watch was out of stock and the order was cancelled. Ok. The next day the watch came. When it came the
battery was dead. So I got a new battery for like twenty bucks. Six months later the watch stopped again. Like the day after daylightsavings time changed.
Which pissed me off because I never fell back to see if I could stick it to the man and the watch would be right again in the spring. So I decided that the
free watch is evil and I got a new one.

What the fuck is the point of that?

Sellers were leaving bad feedback in retaliation for the bad feedback left by buyers. So it was all becoming kinda pointless. They should've just put in a
moderating feature where you could appeal to have it removed or something.

Now you can be a total crap buyer and never get a negative! This is why I use craigslist.

What does the bill of sale say? If it was the cheaper watch, then he can keep it. To say he received no watch won't fly.
Of course, you better never order from them ever again. |

Legally your son doesn't have to do anything. Morally your son is a total douchebag and will be a douchebag his entire life.
Way to go, mom! |

I recently purchased something from an amazon.com seller and left feedback that my item was delivered 3 days late, and the seller got all kinds of hateful. I
sent him a nice FU email in response.
