I took my Dad to see WALL-E because he really wanted to see it and refuses to go to movies alone. He did not enjoy it.
My in-laws were in town and watched a rented movie with me one night while the husband was out -- Little Children. Supremely uncomfortable moments the entire movie. |

I remember seeing The Omega Man at the drive-in in our parents forest green station wagon with the backward back seat that made everyone sick. Scarred me for
life.
On a happier note we used to go see the Herbie the Love bug movies at the drive-in and they always had Herbie there. |

I saw An Inconvenient Truth with my mom, then proceeded to argue with her for an hour that Al Gore was bending the facts to suit his needs. She didn't
believe me, but then she never has.
When I was 16, my dad innocently took me to see Kentucky Fried Movie. He was a bit embarrassed that , but we both got lots of laughs. |

The last one I remember them taking me too as a child was either Goonies or Stand By Me. After that they dropped me off at the theater w/friends. Which is
totally crazy because I could have been kidnapped! What were they thinking?

Probably something foreign with my father when I lived in NYC. No idea with my mother since she died when I was a teen but I always thought she was pretty cool
because she let me watch rated R movies on HBO when I was 11.
