Yeah I'd say JT winning Tocantins is about equal to Boston Rob outsmarting the likes of Jenna Lewis, Tom, Rupert, and Alicia.

Sierra being retarded doesn't make Debbie a bad player. Debbie has said in interviews she had absolutely no intention of being in the final three with JT and Stephen. She was simply trying to last until the Jalapaos started to turn on each other. She said she probably would not have given up the immunity necklace if she had it at three. Also, considering the final five immunity challenge was tailor made for her and Stephen + Erinn wanted JT gone, throwing Coach away WAS the right move. |

She played an incredible social game.Okay. She still wouldn't have won against JT or Stephen, since they played a better social game. And she wouldn't have won against Tyson, since he played a good social game (aside from Sierra) and didn't ride coattails. She was the first target at Timbira but threw Candace under the bus.No, she wasn't the first Timbira target. She was Candace's target, but Candace's opinion didn't matter. Sierra was the first target. Then Candace, then Erinn. Debbie wasn't a target, which is a good thing, but she did not save herself by any sort of genius plan. She latched onto Tyson, who knew he could use her. Sierra refusing to align with Coach and Debbie was absolutely Sierra's fault. She took it to the rest of the tribe... what is Debbie supposed to do, say she was scheming? Sierra being retarded doesn't make Debbie a bad player. And I suppose saying "I'M DONE!!!!!" after about 2 minutes of conversation makes her blameless? Not only that, but she said in confessional after that when she approached Sierra she didn't even know if she herself wanted to go with Timbira, she was just checking options and wanted Stephen and JT to return and have a heart to heart with them. Debbie has said in interviews she had absolutely no intention of being in the final three with JT and Stephen. She was simply trying to last until theReally? You have a way of twisting quotes such as this from her interview with realitynewsonline.com:
So no. And as the day went on, she started changing her answer to "I don't know what I would have done in that situation" but she remained clear on two things: (1) She would have gone to the final 3 with Stephen and JT and (2) She meant her promise at the time she made it. FAIL. |

chapera rocks wrote: 1.) She was the only person in the game who had a shot against JT, and she would have taken down Stephen easily. Considering Sierra listed Debbie as her #3 friend out there behind Taj and Brendan. Considering Erinn called her "an amazing friend for life". Considering Coach and Tyson were tightly aligned with her. Considering JT would have to have given the big FU to Taj or Stephen, it's wholly plausible that one of them would vote for her out of spite. Debbie had a huge fucking shot against JT. Against Stephen? It's not even close. 2.) Coach told Candace they were voting off the weak and that Debbie was first because she was so small. This was before Debbie threw Candace under the bus to save her own hide, gaining trust with Coach. 3.) Sierra said from the beginning she was not going to align back up with Coach and had her mind set beforehand. 30 seconds after the argument she went to Debbie and told her how sorry she was she that she wouldn't join back up. 4.) She was one of the few people not playing for JT. She was willing to cut her allies to stay another day. If she gets Coach gone at six, she has a huge chance at breaking up JETS because of her social gifts. She overplayed her hand. Much smaller mistake than Joe demanding Spencer go. I will argue any point you make, and considering I'm winning, you might as well fuck off now. |

1.) She was the only person in the game who had a shot against JT, and she would have taken down Stephen easily.Too bad she sucked to badly to even get near the finals and too bad her gameplan should have never involved having to beat JT. 2.) Coach told Candace they were voting off the weak and that Debbie was first because she was so small. This was before Debbie threw Candace under the bus to save her own hide, gaining trust with Coach.Considering your poor recollection of post-show interviews, please tell me where this was. Candace said in interviews that Debbie was useless and weak and that she was surprised that they didn't target her but it was because she was so far up Coach's ass. Try again. 3.) Sierra said from the beginning she was not going to align back up with Coach and had her mind set beforehand. 30 seconds after the argument she went to Debbie and told her how sorry she was she that she wouldn't join back up.Yes, and Debbie didn't know how stubborn Sierra really was because she freaked out two minutes into the conversation. Maybe after 20, 30 minutes, I wouldn't blame her. 4.) She was one of the few people not playing for JT. She was willing to cut her allies to stay another day. If she gets Coach gone at six, she has a huge chance at breaking up JETS because of her social gifts. She overplayed her hand. Much smaller mistake than Joe demanding Spencer go.If she was going to break up JETS, she would have done it while she was there, genius. And she didn't turn on Coach, they forced her into it, so that wasn't even her move. And she feels so bad about it till this day! And she was playing for JT to wins, geez, was that quotation not enough for you?? She said she truly meant it when she said she would bow out at final 3. Great player! I will argue any point you make, and considering I'm winning, you might as well fuck off now.Bring it on. And if you consider this winning .... Debbie has said in interviews she had absolutely no intention of being in the final three with JT and Stephen. ... then bravo. FAIL. |

1.) Debbie needed to get to the final two. That's it.Shehas a huge shot against JT and a guaranteed win against anyone else. How quickly your tune changes. Sheknows howwhat she needs to strategically,it's obviously her who came up with it. She tried to break up JETS. Sierra fucked it up by being retarded.Sierra was stupid no doubt, but Debbie gave up too quickly, not really even knowing how anti-Timbira that Sierra was. AND Debbie wasn't 100% sold on flipping to Sierra, since her dumbass thought that JT and Stephen still wanted to vote out Sierra AND Erinn before her or Coach. http://www.youtube.com/wa...amp;feature=channel_page ~1:00-1:20 I really meant it honestly, at that point, because I knew my head was on the chopping block after Tyson was gone. To me, third place would've been good. If I had sat there with that immunity necklace, would I have done it? I don't know. I'm not gonna lie and tell you I would've. Therefore she sucks. And please, tell me where she outright said "I never intended to go to the final 3 with JT and Stephen, I was just trying to survive!" FAIL. |

I think Debbie got far on first impressions. Before the show began, while they were all sequestered, Coach apparently was forming his ideal final 4 based on
who he saw, and pre-show, he wanted the final four to be himself, Debbie, Brendan and Joe... so no matter how bad Debbie performed, Coach probably would've
always kept her along. I agree that Debbie played a good social game, but her first half of the game depended on latching onto Coach and Tyson, at the merge,
Coach and Tyson did all the strategizing that we saw, and when she finally needed to scramble, she lost her composure and was played by JT/Stephen.

She said in her confessional she was playing to win, and if Stephen and JT couldn't be broken up, it might be a good idea to ride them for a while. She clearly believed, correctly, she could beat JT and easily would beat Stephen. |

Tyson actually didn't play that bad. He was easily the smartest of his alliance with Coach and Debbie.
Stephen played infinitely better than JT did. |

HOW can Erinn fans discredit Merhag for trying to align with JT and Stephen when she became part of the minority when that's the EXACT same thing that
Erinn did (mind you, successfully whereas Debbie was not successful)?

The Purple Parrot wrote:1. She was successful. 2. She didn't want to go out third. 3. She actually had a final 2 alliance with one of them and ammo in case JT won immunity. 4. She had no other options given how Coach, Taj, and Debbie all wanted to be in the final 3 with JT/Stephen and wanted her out in 6th/5th/4th. 5. She wasn't in the alliance that was blindsided by JT and Stephen once prior. 6. She was actually in their core alliance unlike Debbie. |

And yet Erinn still had less of a chance to win if she got to the final 2 than Debbie.
