ugh wtf i hate family visit (especially in gabon and tocantins), i cant believe they cut out the intro to make room for THREE exile island scenes and give
eddie george more confessionals than any of the contestants this episode

and dont forget they put him in the commercial for this episode (along with him referring to himself by his full name in the third person "EDDIE GEORGE") thus ruining the auction so that we know she is going to win the bid. Also, talking about the editors ruining their own show, the recap episode showed taj celebrating at the auction (so we knew she wasnt gone until this episode) and it showed sierra yelling at coach saying "you are such a liar!" (so we knew she didnt actually go in the tyson boot ep since we hadnt seen that yet). |

They should have an auction where they are not given money but have to come up with things they themselves can offer in trade for items and let probst and the
camera guys accept what they deem most valuable ...and before everyone starts thinking that the girls would win everything with blowjobs ..look at this cast
: \ .....they could offer to do an appearance for one of jeffs fave charities or make a trinket that can be sold on ebay or kept as a souvonier... things like
that .. just an idea

That was probably done to minimize his pain; you see their child looks miserable, and Eddie doesn't seem to refer to her as "mommy" or talk about
their "son". So having Eric give a kiss to "mommy" probably would've made things even worse. Taj said that it turned out that her son
was having such terrible separation anxiety that she had to ride back home in the backseat with him and had to sleep in his bed. Which makes me wonder how long
it took before she could extract herself from him and get back to Eddie to finish their Exile Island fantasies. (shuddering)

I understand why she had that breakdown. Probably several different emotions going on; missing her family, feeling guilty about leaving, feeling gratitude for
the other players. It would be very hard to leave for that long when you have a young child. We don't see many survivors that are moms with little kids,
do we?
