Obviously someone who says that TAR14 had the best cast ever has no taste but let's break it down:

Ari/Staella, great single-episode villains VS Preston/Jennifer, who I can't remember
Kate/Pat, immensely likeable even if they sucked at racing VS Steve/Linda, who were uncomfortable to watch
Marianna/Julia, okay they were boring VS Brad/Victoria, who were no less boring
Lorena/Jason, a fairly meh couple but at least they provided the classic no more milk camel breakdown VS Amanda/Kris, who were dull and did nothing they'll be remembered for
Shana/Jennifer, memorable bitchy racists VS Christie/Jodi, overrated and ultimately will be more easily forgotten
Azaria/Hendekea, fairly likeable overachievers who took a fall VS Mel/Mike, the only team I think really comes out favourable in this comparison
Kynt/Vyxsin, a likeable couple with just enough weirdness to keep them from being dull VS Mark/Michael, horrid little gremlins and the worst team of the season
Nate/Jenn, the most glorious fights and quotes from a couple ever VS Kisha/Jen, who only became interesting with the Margie/Luke fight and that is nothing compared to the wonder that was N/J
Nick/Don, loveable underdogs VS Jaime/Cara, unloveable underdogs
Ron/Chris, probably the most full story arc the show has ever seen VS Margie/Luke, probably the most coddled brat the show has ever seen
TK/Rachel, who suck balls VS Tammy/Victor, who suck balls slightly less, but they're Asian so zomg they're amazing <3

Couple that with much better tasks and a much better race-course for TAR12. So in conclusion, stop having opinions.

I guess everybody but you has no taste then.

Ari/Staella were great villains but I'd never want them to actually win and it was funny to see them removed right away. Preston/Jennifer brought the same entertainment and the only thing bad about them was that they had to leave the first episode.

Kate/Pat never lived up to their potential. Steve/Linda were STARS for their short time on the show. They were also the source of drama at the loser place too.

Marianna/Julia just annoyed me. Brad/Victoria may not have had time to be interesting but: taking a risky flight >>>>> helping Lorena/Jason defeat you.

Lorena/Jason were great for the milk scene but I liked Amanda/Kris better and was heartbroken by their tragic and unfair demise.

I agree Shana/Jennifer were more entertaining but I found Christie/Jodi more likable. I liked Azaria/Hendekea and Mel/Mike also.

Kynt/Vyxsin were more entertaining than Mark/Michael but the little guys were likable and they set a racing record with all their penalties.

Nate/Jenn definitely cannot be beat but Kisha/Jen became extremely interesting with the Margie/Luke fight.

Nick/Don were likable underdogs but Margie/Luke were way more entertaining, controversial and unique.

Ron/Chris had a great storyline but Jaime/Cara are 1 of the best female teams in TAR history.

TK/Rachel were boring. Tammy/Victor were likable but also brought entertaining moments.


So TAR 12 definitely has several outstanding teams but TAR 14 had a stronger group overall with no one who truly sucked. Brad/Victoria are probably the only ones who didn't stand out but I think they would've been great if they had more time. TAR 12 had more teams that never should have been cast in the first place and 1 of those teams won the whole thing which damages the whole season and cast.
