Whatever happened with this? There was one episode about it, and I never heard anything else. I searched the forum (not as well as I could have, I guess) and
could find nothing about this. Any ideas or suggestions as to why Locke was living in some commune type place growing pot?

Well he joined the commune after Helen left him so I assume he was just looking for some type of family to be a part of.

Agreed. I'm sure they didn't really want him around anymore after he brought the cutie undercover cop into the mix.
