The Siren Queen, DamLa, fell to her knees as the foul dung-breathing dragon, D'Goke flew away laughing and sneering.
The flame haired princess, Lissonira, lay still... a victim of the realm-shattering screech that the dragon let loose just moments ago. Her peaceful face
belying the horrid death blow that took the light from her eyes.
Risall, the monkey knight, picked himself up after being thrown at the duo... a pawn to the dragon's attack. And even he was surprised at the end result as
he hurried to the laying princess.
DamLa bent down and gave a tender kiss on the princess' forehead... a single crystalline tear falling down her face.
"She is in a better place, DamLa. Perhaps she can now find peace where she could find none in this war-torn world," Risall quietly said, looking to
the skies where the dragon flew.
"You sing with the angels now. Farewell, little sister." DamLa said as she rose up and turned towards Mount Idol, "We will avenge your death...
and the dragon shall die!"

The dung-breathing dragon, D'Goke, flew up to its rocky throne in the foul smelling cave. Heaving its ample bosom and belly to lay comfortably on the
outcrop, it looked down as its slave followers brought more and more food to fill his monstrous appetite.
"HAHAHAHAH!" it roared with laughter, "even the combined power of the flame haired princess and the siren queen was no match for my scream-on! How dare the peasants dare dream that she would overpower my worthiness to the throne with her youth and exubrance. Such a pity I could not caress her comely form more before the slaughter. Now only the monkey knight stands in my way before the prophecied showdown...and I will not show any mercy." It looked down at its minions gathering force for its next attack for the War of the Crown atop Mount Idol. He had expelled much energy during the War, even devouring the heart of its mate, Phia'Goke, as a sacrifice to the Elder Gods. But his power waned and he required more. "The four Elder Gods have seen fit to bestow a special weapon upon me to ensure my victory" he exclaimed, "and I shan't let them down." "But, Highness, have not the Gods bestowed similar weapons to the Siren Queen and the Monkey Knight?" said a lowly minion, it's squinted eyes and almost non-existent ears perking up. "INSOLENCE!" the dragon raged, sweeping its head down and swallowing the minion in one gulp, "it shall not be tolerated in my presence!" "Our day shall come..." as he let out a belch and a mighty laugh, "and the Realm shall know my evil!"

The monkey knight crossed the rope bridge into the treetop village deep within the mountains.
"Because I must!" he said, regretting his harsh tone almost immediately. He took her back into his arms in apology, "It is the code of the Knights to fight whenever needed. I cannot rest until this scourge is wiped from the land. Can you not understand this?" "Even if you are to die? The Elder Gods will not help you. I cannot go on another day thinking this will be our last together. Can the Siren Queen not win this war over D'Goke? Isn't her power equal if not greater than the dragon?" "Her power is as the dragon's... of brute force and strength. Mine, although subdued, is still powerful in its own right and may be able to diffuse and perhaps finally defeat the dung-breather." She dug her head deep into his chest, "Will you not reconsider? Is this the only way?" He held her tightly as he looked out the window at the children playing... "It's our only hope."

It had been prophecied since ages gone that the Siren Queen and the Dung-breathing dragon would be the two forces to do battle for the Crown of 19 atop Mount
Idol, but as DamLa rested in the confines of her castle, she could not help but reflect on all who had fallen in the dragon's wrath.
the AvianMaid... The Blind warrior... the ScreechWitch... the mysterious Noop... the MoleMan... even her beloved Flamehaired Princess... All had fallen before the dungheap the dragon, D'Goke, had unleashed. Only the Monkey Knight, Risall, still remained... and he had gone to his quiet mountain village to prepare for the next battle ahead. But the odds were against them. The dragon was strong and had built a fanatical cult of the blind/deaf to fight unquestionably for its glory. Only the Siren had the power to remain unscathed... but would it be enough? DamLa could not let the prophecy come to pass now... The dragon must die before the final battle. And she had a few tricks up her sleeve.

*Disciples! The time is nigh! Our master's reign is but a breath away!* D'Goke, the dung-breathing dragon, slithered and slothed his massive girth on the stony throne he claimed as his own, temporarily satiated with the mountanous feast he had gorged upon. All the while, the cult leader, Pru, had done a magnificent job of building the faith of the cult followers for the upcoming battle. Perhaps when he claims the Crown of 19, D'Goke will let Pru live and not devour him as he had intended. *You have witnessed the might of our Master! Nothing shall stand in our way!* Even though they had long gone deaf with the dragon's constant and ghastly roar, the Cult of D'Goke had learned to speak telepathically amongst themselves. D'Goke also knew to keep his minions close at hand. That was the key to their loyalty... to know no other joy than to worship him. *It is our duty and our privilege to see that the entire realm be as one with the Cult!* D'Goke adjusted the spectacles resting on his porcine snout. He may no longer need them to sway the growing cult, but still he fancied them as a vanity to his illustrious beauty. The dragon rubbed his massive underbelly and the growth of fur beneath his chin. *We must be steadfast in our convictions, my brethren! There are evil beings who see fit to extinguish the glorious light that is our Master!* Only the Siren Queen and the Monkey Knight stood in his path... but he was blessed since the start of the War. The Four Elder Gods had already foretold his victory and he cannot blame them. He deserved it like no other. Even the meekest of the Gods, Pabdulla, visited him in a dream and granted him a special power against the Siren. *Once He ascends Mount Idol, He shall take the crown and all shall know His glory! All hail D'Goke!!!* The throngs of worshippers throughout the cave erupted with fanatical, almost psychotic, cheering.
"Pru! I am off to Mount Idol. Gather the Cult and meet me there for the final battle. We will win and the Crown shall be mine! Be prepared! It will be a fantastic battle!" Pru barely had time to acknowledge before the Dragon rose up and flew out of the cave and into the sky. As he soared towards the site of the final battle, a gleam shown in his beady eyes. Yes, this will be a fantastic battle, indeed. |

Risall's eyes shot open and he sat straight up in his bed. He looked down at his wife laying next to him. She was still asleep and din't stir. He lay back down but the dream was too vivid to ignore. He was wandering through a jungle that kept getting denser and denser. The longer he journeyed through the harder it was to get through the thick foliage until he had to squeeze through small gaps in the trees. Eventually he managed to fall into an open area within the trees. The sun shone brightly from the open sky unto a glowing transparent figure floating above. The Monkey Knight tried covering his eyes to get a better view of the figure above through the sun's bright rays. He could just make out the canine facial features. *gasp* Was this the Elder God, D'Aug? Before he could grasp the enormity of this, the Elder God began speaking in the convoluted tongue only the gods could understand... "fhabnr.bnoahbMARYACAREEeehjhalkcvcjJURNEEkasfbha
The Elder God then flashed into a brilliant light that blinded Risall and woke him up. The Knight sat up again and rubbed his forehead. Never before had this happened. Only through cryptic omens and strange phenomena had the Gods communicated to him. Nothing as direct as this. He slowly rose out of bed as to not awaken his wife and leaned over the water bowl, splashing cool water over his face. What could it mean? Especially that last word.... Were the Gods apologizing to him for their mistreatment of him? Never... they would never do such a thing for a mortal. He again looked over at his sleeping wife, looking innocent and at peace. She would not look the same tomorrow as he left with the Village Chiefs and the armies of the MountainMen. She will be worried and would not stop crying. This he could not bear to put her through. He laced up his armor, sheathed his sword... and after a gentle kiss on his beloved's cheek, placed the helmet on his head. The MountainMen armies will still travel to Mount Idol. But The Monkey Knight must go ahead and fulfill whatever destiny holds for him. Solemn and stoic, the knight left his village and started in the direction of Mount Idol, hoping he would return after the War was over. |

"The voice that will save the world" Without knowledge beforehand, DamLa knew that the patriarch of the Elder Gods, Co-wel, had spoken to her in a dream. He pondered this as she rode his magnificent steed across the plains towards Mount Idol, towards the place where the War would end. "Yours is the voice that will save the world" "But why me?" she cried out, "Why would you allow the scourge of the dragon to slay so many worthy warriors while the dragon still lives?" "Our motives will not be questioned. Tis a wicked game we play, and such it shall be your right as well. You who is more than man and woman, you transcend and it shall be you who slays the beast." Damla didn't understand. She neared the base of Mount Idol and looked up to where the peak was shrouded in mist. Atop there lay the Crown of 19 and the Elder Gods who would decree
the next ruler of the world.
But she vowed not to let another friend fall to the vicious attacks of the dung-breather. The Glamda armada was not more than a day behind her but he decided to ride ahead to ready the battlefield for what surely would be the bloodiest battle of all. She would need to prepare. His powers were great but even she had his limits. She dismounted her steed and tied it to a nearby tree. Then sitting in the traditional Lamda meditation stance, prepared his mind. Never again would he allow the dragon to manipulate the world as he did. The atrocity must stop. Off in the distance, DamLa saw a lone warrior coming from the other side of the valley. Instantly, he knew it was Risall, the Monkey Knight. The valiant warrior stayed true to his knight's code and battled his way through all the God's trials despite their insistence that he did not belong. She rose up and waved a greeting to his friend. The knight returned it as they started walking towards each other. But then... a shadow crossed the valley. Both warriors gazed upwards as they saw D'Goke the Dragon block out the sun in a death spiral towards them. The battle was about to start... |

T.ears to my eyes! Well, not really, but I do feel the epicness of it all.
Perfect job capturing Kris as a Monkey Knight, Adam as a Siren Queen and Gokey as... well an abominable monster. I'll definitely drop by after the show to see the newest chapter. |

The brunt force of the dung breathing dragon's crash upon the earth erupted in a powerful explosive gale of dust, dirt and noxious gases.
Once the dust settled, the vile D'Goke raised his enormous bulk and looked down upon his two adversaries, a sinister sneer on his gaping maw. "And so we meet again, little ones! Oh...." he exclaimed in mock surprise, "but only two of you this time? Wherever is that wee Trollandian princess? Did she not like my last serenade?" "She is in a place you will never be worthy to see, beast!" the Knight replied through clenched teeth. "Strong words for one so lucky to still be alive at this point. But it won't be for long. Even now my cult army is marching here to Mount Idol and when I claim the Crown of 19, they will spread to each of your kingdoms and cleanse them of the non-believers. All in my name..." the dragon's talons raked the ground before him as he lowered his head in a readying stance. "And do not think your pathetic powers will be enough to stop it. Even the Elder Gods have given me a special blessing to deal with you... what have you?" "The Elder Gods have see fit to equip us all," the Siren said, flipping her cloaks over his shoulder and herself getting into a battle position. Risall gave a slight quizzical look before raising both shield and sword, preparing for the first attack. "All of us?," he whispered to himself. "Once we deal with you, your cult will be wiped clean from the world," Damla shouted, her black lined eyes narrowing. "Is that right?" the Dragon replied back sarcastically, his shoulders shifting back and forth like a feline ready to pounce, "You and what army?" "I need no army..." the Siren said just as D'Goke launched himself towards DamLa, talons bared and ready to rend, "Just the power of ONE!!!" The Siren opened her mouth and let forth a mighty high pitched squeal. A bolt of white energy shot from her hands and into the Dragon's breast, knocking it onto its back. The dung-breather swung it's head back to look at the Siren. The fancy spectacles that proudly stood on the beast's snout had been knocked into oblivion. "FOOL! I will enjoy ripping you to shreds and savoring every moment!" D'Goke snarled as he whipped his wings around and cocked his head back. Then with a lunge forward, the Dragon unleashed a barrage of dung. Once again the Siren sang the unseemingly unreachable note and, with the power of ONE, dissipated the dung into nothingness. The Dragon roared with fury at the futility of his attack. "You leave me no choice, Siren!" D'Goke steamed, "Witness now the power the Gods have bestowed upon me!" With an unnatural guttural screech, D'Goke invoked the power the Elder God Pabdulla blessed him with. One by one, images of a flame haired Trollandian surrounded DamLa, moving in an awkward fashion.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! Dance little one! Or as you called her, little sister... Dance little sister, dance!" All the while, visions of the princess's corpse danced violently around the Siren Queen. Risall, the Monkey Knight, did not understand why the Siren suddenly fell onto the ground in a fetal position, crying like a child. But the mocking words of the Dragon made certain he had used some sort of mental attack on her. He readied himself for the same attack. "And now... the crying Siren or the powerless knight. Who shall feed my gullet first... Eenie, meenie, miney, MONKEY!" And with serpentine stealth, the Dragon lunged for the Knight... |

Before the Dung Breather pounced upon the Knight, Risall banged his sword upon his shield, causing both to slowly vibrate and hum. As D'Goke was about to land upon the steadfast warrior, Risall started humming as well. A twinkling around his sword and shield extending an ethereal
outline past the physical boundaries of his weapons.
The Dragon got up and snorted furiously, toxic gases spewing from its flared nostrils. Without his spectacles, it would be a bit harder to fight. "You insignificant ape! You're delaying the inevitable!" snarled the Beast, replacing its frustration with a smug grin, "Why do you fight when even the Elder Gods do not want you here?" "I care not what the Gods think. I fight for the people and for what they believe in. The Gods have lost touch with them and have done so for too long." "The prophecy shall come true whether you believe in it or not," D'goke responded, swinging his horned tail. The Monkey Knight used his shield to deflect the tail and barely missed as he swung his sword to cut at it. "If it is to be, then I shall die according to my Code of my Order. But I will not go down without a fight!" "HAHAHAHA! Your archaic Order of Knights?!?!?! The Gods look unfavorably upon the stoicism and restraint your "powerful" bretheren wield!" The dragon mocked, swinging a giant manicured claw and avoiding another sword thrust, "They favor those who can wield it and those who are not afraid to show it!" "That is their decision, but they will not dictate my future," Risall quickly said as he pushed forward against a claw trying to knock him off balance. "I don't need their power... I do not need their sympathy or for them to APOLOGIZE when this is over." D'Goke hopped backwards to avoid a sword swing, "Are you still upset that I hypnotized you and made you my little monkey puppet... that I made you a RENEGADE and forced you to unite with me against the Siren and the Princess?" "That will never happen again, beast!" he replied, jumping over the swinging tail and retaliating with another sword thrust. "Your filthy powers shall never do that to me again!" "Oh no?"
"Doo doo doo doo... BEAUTIFUL TO ME... can't you see", he growled very throatily. The eyes of the Dragon started changing colors and the Knight's resolve slowly waned, lowering his sword and shield. The Dung-Breather's power was too strong. |

Meanwhile, deep within her own mind, the Siren wailed against the dancing images of the Trollandian Princess. She sobbed and cried, rocking himself back and forth while the gruesomely dancing Lissoniras continued swirling around her, reminding her of the mistakes he had made. "I'm so sorry..." A gentle hand touched her shoulder, and he raised her tear-stricken face.
DamLa got up and embraced the flame haired girl tenderly, the t.ears of mourning turning to t.ears of joy. "I'm so, so sorry... Maybe it was too SLOW a RIDE to battle D'Goke. But I can't do it... My powers are not enough. I don't know what else to do." The vision of Lissonira broke the embrace and gingerly carressed the Siren's face. Suddenly the voice was as familiar to the Siren as he had heard before. "You have to CRY, BABY. Cry-y-y-y-y baby." The Siren understood and a smile broke out on her face. The Princess returned the smile and they embraced once again... "Welcome back home." The mind warp soon faded and DamLa found herself standing where he stood before the Dragon's mental attack. The t.ears still streamed down her face as she recalled the Princess' words to her. Off in the distance, she saw the Dragon staring intently at Risall. And the Knight was slowly lowering his only defenses against the dung-breathing behemoth. D'Goke was shifting his shoulders ready to pounce. She only had seconds...! With a mighty wail, DamLa used to power of her CRYING to unleash his deadliest attack yet. A pure white stream of light shot straight up into the sky, arched over and hit the Dragon squarely on its back. The Dragon roared with pain, surrounded by the light as it flashed from black to white, holding it in place. The Monkey Knight, broken free from the hypnosis, snapped back to action, holding his enchanted sword at the ready. "Die, you HEARTLESS fiend!" as he threw the sword at the Dragon's bulbous breast. It penetrated with a sickening thud and the white energy exploded with an intensity that threw back both the Knight and the Siren... Picking himself up, Risall looked over at the smoldering pile that was D'Goke. His sword still stood straight up out of the beats's enormous gullet. He looked around and saw the Siren knocked some distance away. Her last blast spent what energy she had left. Grabbing his side, he might have broken a couple ribs, he slowly made his way to the smoking heap to retrieve his sword. As he got close, he saw the Dragon's eyes had closed, his mouth open and a grotesque tongue sticking out. Was the Dragon dead?
