I still believe in God. I do, however, have serious issues with organized Christianity in its current state. It's become the antithesis *giggle* of what it
should be: a religion of love and acceptance.

I dunno. I was sent to a christian school and I was totally into the whole idea. Then I left school and realized it was stupid. It ASTOUNDS me how many of my
old classmates are hardcore biblethumpers. Even the cheerleaders and the "bad" kids. They all love them some Jesus. MORE than back at school. I
don't get it.

I remember walking home in 7th grade and thinking to myself that the Bible was just toooo convenient, and a way to control people, particularly women.

i became less and less religious progressively since college (with one semester being the exception when i was taking a course on islam and the professor was
pretty good with seemingly convincing arguments).
so overall i was a de-facto atheist/agnostic but didn't realize it. and then i read God Delusion which crystalized the views. |
