Isn't this sort of casting killing the idea behind the show?

So this season the show goes further than ever in its attempts to have an all female team win by giving us only a pair of hobbits and a geriatric homo with his
homo son as m/m.
Isn't this sort of casting killing the idea behind the show? |

They could cast ten FF teams and one MM or MF team, and the latter would be guaranteed to win.
Like the ratio of good teams to shitty teams in all-stars. |

Agreed Rliss. I'm sick and tired of hearing about how important it is for an all girl team to win. |

It's not important for an FF team to win. It's important foran interesting team to win. And FF teams, due to mentality of women under pressure, are
more interesting than alpha males, who generally race unemotionally and last a long time.

Those kind of teams have always been doomed to failure. Besides, there are just as many spasmodic males as there are females. |

I want a FF winner, but I don't want them to be boring. This season I would have liked to see Jaime/Cara or Jen/Kisha win, but not the blondes.

And no assholes. Interesting assholes like Colin/Christie, Weavers, etc. can make F3, and then lose - that's always fun. But it's not fun if they
walk off with a million dollars.

That's kinda stupid. Would you have wanted Margie/Luke to win just because a parent/child team have never won before? Personally I was rooting
half-heartedly for Jaime/Cara in the final three for lack of other options but if they had actually won, it would have been a little disappointing knowing that
Charla/Mirna had been in the final three but couldn't take the title, and as much as I think they're basically soulless robots the BQs really deserved
to win in All Stars too. Until another F/F team comes along that's either as entertaining as C/M (fat chance) or as competent as the BQs (again, not very
likely), or just close to the calibre of those two teams, I'm happy for women to keep losing.
But this discussion is all pointless because we all know Eric/Danielle were crushed by a tank just before crossing the Finish Line of All Stars, while the BQs stopped in the park to try to decipher what the crickets were saying to them, allowing Charla/Mirna to cartwheel their way to the million dollars. <3 |

I'm fine with the women teams not winning as long as they have a fighting chance against the other teams. I dislike Alpha male teams because they have an
advantage because they're both strong and they're generally boring and dull because of it. It's better TV when teams struggle through their tasks
and bicker or show emotion and we generally don't get any of that from the M/M friend teams. The M/M teams were interesting this year and none of the
teams had a major advantage compared to another.
