someone forgot Fantasia. She was also TCO in her season. They threw Diana under the bus then put the bus in reverse and backed up over her during the
finale even though she outsang Fantasia by a very wide margin.
Simon has an obvious favorite every season
S1 Tamyra
S2 Ruben
S3 Fantasia
S4 Carrie
S5 Daughtry
S6 Melinda
S7 Archie
and this season was no exception....it's Adam
So far three producers/simon choices have won, Carrie, Ruben and Fantasia. The other four seasons it has been someone that the producers either didn't
notice in the early rounds (Kelly, David C) but they were so good they couldn't criticize them without looking like morons or someone they just
couldn't get rid of no matter how hard they tried (Taylor & Jordin).
It's a toss up this year as to whether it will be scenerio 1 (TCO) or scenerio 2 (dark horse). While Kris has never been slammed the way Taylor Hicks was
on his season it was clear that NO ONE actually wanted him in the finale........
Either way come November I'll hopefully have three CDs to buy, Allison, Kris and Adam <3

I remember when Archuleta was the Decoy Chosen One and Cook the Real Chosen One, because the AI Machine was aware of the Pimpage backlash so sent out that kid
like a lamb to slaughter... or so the Grand Conspiracy Theory went, as it was presented to me last season by loonies. Good times.
Again, I don't believe there's any voting manipulation going on, and never has been. It's counter-productive to the goal of the show - making the most money off the contestant with the most fans. It makes no sense to make a contestant with less fans the "winner". (Though I'm sure there are conspiracy theories for why they'd do that too.) |
