It'll come down to Stephen/JT, and one of them will ask the other to step down, thus leading to: "Don't you trust me?" and then "I trust you, but I trust me more." In that scenario, there's no reason for Taj to keep JT at F4.

The thing here is I don't think Taj would have any real allegiance to JT if he was being targeted by Stephen and Erinn. And if Taj is the hold out that forces the tie and JT wins F3 final immunity and chooses Stephen over Taj he'd take a HUGE jury hit. We've been shown that JT gunning for Taj on a couple seperate occasions - Stephen could use this to swing Taj. If Stephen and Taj stick together, they could boot JT without Erinn knowing, by just having JT vote out Erinn and then the two of them voting JT - it wouldn't matter who Erinn voted for. Stephen wouldn't force a tie with JT being one of the competitiors in the fire making challenge because JT would be the heavy favorite to beat any of them. There is a vote and it's tied - however somebody tells a lie. They vote again and it's a tie again and somebody is exposed. I'm betting JT sides with Erinn to go after Taj. After the first vote JT denies it was him, during the second vote Stephen shows his ballot after he writes the name doen (or whispers to Taj that he'll put a star on his ballot or somethig). JT's vote is exposed, and Erinn and Taj head to a tie breaker fire challenge. Or Stephen and Taj vote Erinn, however JT votes Taj with Erinn - and after the first ballot says "I thought you guys would voted me, so I needed to force a tie. When they vote again and he still votes Taj, he of course is exposed. This would of course mean JT didn't have immunity and was feeling really vunerable. Also, with JT being so well liked and winning challenges how does he lose a majority of jury votes? Anyone know how many days it is between the last day of filming and the finale night?

They knew that Coach was voting for Erinn and that believed that Taj and Erinn were voting for Coach. JT told Stephen he was going to vote for Erinn so that he wouldn't break his word to Coach and Stephen was left to vote however he wanted althought JT was pushing for Coach. Both JT and Stephen had trust issues with Erinn and may have speculated that Erinn/Taj could try to blindside Stephen. So I think that JT/Stephen wanted to be sure that Erinn had at least two votes in order to prevent against any attempt at a coup by Taj/Erinn and ensure that there would at least be a tie if they went against Stephen.

It could be a lie by Erinn or even Taj that plants the seed of doubt which shakes the trust JT/Stephen have had in each other. Overall my take is that this is the only way to "pump up the finale" because the "final two turning on each other at the final TC" has JT/Stephen written all over it.

Posts: 37 (05/15/09 12:54 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Here's my (not so valuable) take on the clues: -The shocking vote could mean that either Stephen or JT turn on the other (most likely Stephen turning on JT), and that they make up a "carefully constructed lie" to convince Erinn and/or Taj to vote the other one (whichever one is going to be betrayed) out as well. -The second vote is likely referring to the F3 tribal council instead of a re-vote at the F4 tribal council, yet I could be mistaken. -Likely, the F3 tribal council will reveal someone's lies, and the F2 will likely get into a "he/she said, he/she said" argument at the final tribal council when confronted about the lie (they both try to pin it on the other or something like that). Here's a possibility (based on the clues, yet this is probably not what happens): Stephen realizes that he can't beat JT in a final two, so he decides to keep Erinn since he assumes she will be easy to beat at the end. He and Erinn decide to figure out a way to convince Taj to turn on JT, and they make up a story which convinces her to turn on him (hence Taj's confessional shown in the preview about her being willing to stab a person in the back), and they all vote out JT. However, Taj assumes that Stephen is taking her to the end, so she lets him win immunity, yet he really takes Erinn to the end. At the final tribal council, Taj and/or JT confront Stephen and Erinn, who both try to pin the idea on the other. It's a way better move than it appears.
