Virginia: *opens hotel room door to see Ireland fast asleep* Uh, Ireland? It's time to wake up.
Ireland: *continues hugging pillow* Mmmf.
Virginia: Wake up.
Ireland: *tosses in bed* Mmmmmf.
Virginia: WAKE UP!
Ireland: *rubs eyes blearily* Hunh?
Virginia: Ireland! It's a Race day today! Come on, we only have 3 more hours before it starts again!
Ireland: Don't worry... it's not like we packed much anyway. *sadface*
Virginia: *seriously* But we need to be ready you know.
Ireland: OK, I'll go get the hotel buffet breakfast - by the way, why the hell are you up so early?
Virginia: I was at the gym.
Ireland: Wow, Ginny, I can't believe it! You're working out!
Virginia: I figured after costing us the footrace last leg, it was time to get in better shape.
Ireland: So did you like use the treadmill? That's really good for running.
Virginia: Yes. Although I fell just short of level 5.
Ireland: That's pretty impressive already. Keep it up babe!
Virginia: *frowns* Did you just call me babe?
Ireland: Why not? *thinks* Isn't it a female-to-female term of endearment? I hear it all the time in Sex and the City.
Virginia: I'm proud to say that I have more dignity than those skanks.

Ireland: It's great that Ginny is starting to put herself together again, especially after last leg's stress. I hope to see that our relationship can develop on such a positive note.

Virginia: Ireland thinks that I might be opening up, and she is happy with me. Maybe I am, but it's only the beginning of what I have to tell. I just hope I can, you know... *toys with hair* let go. There is so much I need to tell her, I can only hope she's ready for it. She *hesitates* seems to be, but I can't be sure. I can't help thinking - well sorry, you know - she's naive. What if she can't face up to the truths? What if she has these idealistic visions, I'm sure she has, just waiting to be shattered? *bites lip* We'll see about that.
