Anyway, this was a weird season for me. I feel like a spent my time alternating between my fairly dominant performance in AT4 and my suck-ass performance in AT3. I guess it all has something to do with my level of sleep deprivation - in AT4 the legs were never very late so I never felt that bad running it. AT3 was ridiculously late and I spent most of the season screaming and crying. Here, the leg times were pretty similar to AT4's but because of all the 6AM starts for work, I was gradually getting more and more sleep deprived to the point of completely choking at that Detour.. ugh I still can't believe how badly I fucked it up. I kinda want to hate Thinga a little bit though for taking a spot in the final three and then quitting at the Roadblock.

I also feel like Gary/Svetlana were somewhere between my two teams - better than Zach/Scarlet but not as good as Lach/Gabe. The most annoying thing about the final four leg was spending over an hour preparing skits to reveal the secret behind Svetlana, then pressing 'back' in the wrong tab and losing it all. I kinda don't think rewriting it would be worth the time, but here's the gist of what was going to happen:

Svetlana was going to reveal over the course of the penultimate leg through private confessionals that she's not really Svetlana at all, but a psychopathic girl from California who, at a young age, came across a rich guy who became infatuated with her. She had no interest in him, or any other men for that matter, but when she saw the lifestyle he led hatched a plan to marry him, kill him and stake a claim to his fortune. Her plan worked, but then she lost almost everything when the man's sisters filed a claim to the cash. However, 'Svetlana' had discovered the life she wanted to lead and set out into the world to find other suckers who would fall in love with her, marry her and then leave all their money to her upon their untimely deaths.

Things had been going well enough for 'Svetlana' until she came across Gary, who lied to her about his assets and had nothing to steal. So, she came up with the plan to win a million dollars in AT6 and make her time with him worthwhile. Then, while Gary was performing the penultimate Roadblock, I was going to have Svetlana notice the following 'wanted' poster for her arrest:



...although it really wouldn't have made any sense for that to be plastered around Mongolia. She was going to stuff the poster into the money pack as Gary was approaching, then at the end of the leg Gary was going to freak out about how little money they had left, check the pack and discover the poster. At that point Sindy was going to hold Gary hostage throughout the final leg (yeah, of course I thought I was going to make it that far), and.. I hadn't really decided what to do right at the end. Sindy probably would have been caught by the Feds and dragged away. Or maybe she would have killed Gary. And everyone else. For kicks.
