The fucking internet service here at the Holiday Inn Express went down yesterday and still hasn't been fixed. I'm stealing wireless access from the Sleep Inn next door but the connectivity is very low and erratic...and I can't upload photos because it keeps timing out. Well I can't upload them very fast anyway but I did manage to get a few more up:

That's the line to get into Lady & Sons for lunch at 11am. The lady with the clipboard there called everyone's name and gave them a seating card for either the 1st or 3rd floor dining room. We got 3rd floor.

After we ate lunch it was still raining and crappy cold...like the weather I left behind in Chicago...so we decided to just drive around and look at houses and architecture. This was the first one we came to and took a pic of, and it was the only one I managed to upload before the internet service crapped out. There are several more and I'll get them up as quickly as I can.

After driving all over the Historic District we drove out to Tybee Island, even though the worst of the rain was out that direction. We drove all the way out to the end and took a look at the beach (completely deserted) and the ten foot swells out in the Atlantic Ocean, then drove back up to the Tybee lighthouse. On the way back to Savannah we stopped at Uncle Bubba's Oyster House for drinks and to check the place out...I think it may be better than Lady & Sons. When we left it had finally stopped raining so we went back to the Historic District and walked around for another 3 hours and had dinner. That's it for yesterday.
