Ok picking up where I left off yesterday...

Now I do want to say...I'm not the photographer for most of these pictures. My wife is. Anyway...this rowhouse looked cool with the ivy going up the steps.

Tybee Island lighthouse. We didn't go up because it was pouring rain and blowing about 40 miles an hour.

Uncle Bubba's Oyster House. We stopped here for drinks, had a couple each and I even got a free charred oyster. We're having dinner here tomorrow night.

The gated entrance to Colonial Park Cemetery. Walking through here is a trip...reading old tyme headstones and seeing how young people were when they died.

For some reason Diane is quite enamored of these trees with the hanging moss. Having grown up in Mississippi where they are very prevalent, they didn't do anything for me, but I thought the above ground crypts were cool.

This is the main altar at St John The Baptist Catholic Church. They wouldn't let us take flash pictures inside the church so its a little fuzzy.

The founder of Girl Scouts of America, Juliette Gordon Low, was born in Savannah. There is a huge Girl Scout presence in Savannah, beginning with this original headquarters building.

I could walk around and look at houses like this all day. Oh, wait...I did. Yesterday.

This morning we were going to go to the Savannah Wildlife Refuge, but as we were leaving Diane suddenly said, "Go to Hilton Head instead", so we did. We got lucky and it didn't rain at all other than a few stray sprinkles. It was cloudy and windy all day but it did get warmer as the day went on. I like Hilton Head and I'll most definitely go back there again.

The happy couple on Hilton Head beach. The water wasn't too cold...I tested it with my hand...but it was so windy that it felt cold coming out.

We went up to HarbourTown after the beach and went up the Hilton Head Lighthouse. Those are the Harbour Shoppes and Yacht Club down below.

Behind the rather ugly catamaran there is the very beautiful 18th hole of the Harbour Links Golf Course.

Ok I'm all caught up on pictures now. Don't think we're doing the ghost tour this trip, but she wants to come back here again so next time that'll be a priority. Not sure exactly what we're doing tomorrow but we'll figure it out in the morning.
