No 80's...call me a masochist but I WANT HOT WEATHER!!! I still gotta put up the last few pics from yesterday but I'll probably do that tomorrow sometime.

Looking out at the Atlantic Ocean at Burke's Beach on Hilton Head Island. This was the dude trying to surf. I never actually saw him stand up on his board. Looking south along the beach. The wind was about 35 mph. Mmmmmmmmmmm oysters! Moving on to today...this is looking south at Kentucky Lake from the dam at the Tennessee River. Looking east along the dam. TVA sign behind the dam explaining the origin of the dam. This lady was fishing with a net. Check out all the fish in her boat! Every time she swept the net through the water she came up with at least 2 fish, sometimes more. Last picture...this is the Tennessee River entering the dam. We went to the swimming beach but it was closed, so instead we just walked around the park area on the west side of the lake. At least we finally got some sunshine! So that's it for my vacation. Thanks for letting me share it with all of you.

Posts: 10142 (06/12/09 8:58 PM) Annoying sports freak Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Ok so Diane and I went up to Wisconsin Dells today for a night...we spent the whole day having fun: Go Karts, rented a wave runner and went out on Lake Delton for an hour, went parasailing, went swimming back at the hotel, had a fantastic dinner at a Japanese steakhouse and just got back from the Ho-Chunk casino where I played 4 different 25cent slot machines and won $120 (Diane lost $40). Tomorrow we're spending the day at a waterpark before heading home tomorrow evening. Sorry...no pics this time.

The lady at Lake Delton Watersports said they finished fixing the dam and all of that last fall then they filled the lake a couple of months ago. The water was warmer than I expected too...we fell off the wave runner once and landed in the drink. But boy was that fun!
